Bad odor throughout the hotel. Nonetheless the location was close to where I needed to be. I didn’t spend a lot of time on the property. Just needed a place to lay my head at night.

AC blew directly into a corner of the room and did not work well. Lock on the door was busted. Elevator was broke. Room booked was not the room we got, booked room with extra space and couch but got a smaller King room with only a chair, yet paid the price for the larger room

Ok the housekeepers didn’t speak English, my room did come with door latch (broken). My cards hardly worked to open my room door. No breakfast nor pool nor ice.

It was clean, quick check in. Wasn’t a lot of noise or moving up and down the hallway.

The smell of dog and the cleaning was not great , no light bulbs in the rooms, the doors didn't shut right or lock properly, the people was nice except one worker, no coffee machine in the rooms, the mattress was nasty, rated as a 4

The room was in need of a lot of repairs, the closet rack was broken down, the toilet paper holder was broken and badly rusted out, the toilet seat was loose, the baseboards in the bathroom were a mess. There was some kind of dried fluids on the bathroom counter, the toilet seat was loose, there were 2 bath towels but only one hand towel and only one washrag, the sheet didn't fit the bed right and looked slept in, there was no room service no fresh towels and the bed did not get made after the first night. The light fixture over the sink didn't work, and the lamp was not good for doing hair and makeup. Why do your motels put a double or queen sized sheets on a king bed? The drink machine was always empty.

The staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful,. The night clerk even found me some bottled water when the drink machine was empty.

Placed looks like ready for serious rebuild or maybe for wrecking ball. Really rundown place, I stayed in so called Superior room and probably wouldn't want to even see non superior rooms in the hotel. Everything very dated and not well maintained. The fire detector was just hanging from the ceiling on wires only, refrigerator was hard to open due to freeze built inside. Incredibly dirty floor in the room. Bathroom and bed were OK, but my slippers I use only indoor when traveling were after the visit so dirty they looked like I did a Spartan race in them. :-)

Good location for my needs. Reasonable price. Very big, but mostly empty room.

Many maintenance issues, including unpainted repairs in walls and various holes in walls. somewhat inconsistent housekeeping. bathrooms needed updating.

I thought the hotel was fine. The only thing I disliked and thought was bad for business was the homeless man that was hanging around in the lobby and at the entrance. This man was here for a lot of the time I was here and at one point pulled into the parking lot to see him trying to open one of the other customers car door.

It was very old. They had dust and debris everywhere. The elevator did not work on the 3rd floor. It had a old smell. My room had old wood floors. I would only stay here if I had no choice. It was not enjoyable.

Not much I had the room with the spa in it that was enjoyable. The location is very good it is in the middle of Yorktown, but still close to Newport News and Hampton.

Not sure if this was because it was my first stay in a hotel for “x” amount of days or if it was because they needed new hires but there was no housekeeping and floors were dirty but other than that, great stay!

Staff was friendly and rooms were comfortable. The place is real close to every store, restaurant, and especially the beach… which was amazing! They also had free self served coffee for the mornings and had a free pizza night for the clients who wanted to attend! Definitely would stay here again at my next visit, which will be soon!
