The walk to the Alamo was under a freeway. As I was with husband isn’t wasn’t too bad. But I wouldn’t have walked on my own.

    The parking was free.

You pay to park and there is limited spaces. 5/6 nights we had to park under a major highway. You are on the edge of town, across the street starts the seedy part of town.

The room was large enough for 3 people. Ours had a sleeper sofa. A hot breakfast was available and was more than enough. Waffles, eggs, sausage, cereal, muffins and bagels. The staff was friendly. You can walk to the Alamo and river walk. Overall this was an affordable pick.

Room decor old and worn. Wallpaper pealing at ceiling level, wall patch done with staples, headboard chewed by animal. Sofa was extremely used.

Observed it to be very family friendly.

We had too many problems with the room we had booked. We spent most of the night looking for a new room to meet our needs. The original room assigned had issues with the facilities, then we got another room, and there were blood stains on the used sheets. After about 4 rooms we finally got a suitable room to finally sleep.

The breakfast was pretty good. Lots to choose from and fresh orange juice.

Dirty carpet and dusty surfaces. Sofas and chairs look comfortable but are well past their comfortable state. Pool towels were often out. Small print about paying for parking. We left an item behind and process for getting it sent to us is tedious and more difficult than it needs to be. Staff not as helpful as they could be.

Location, size of room, friendly staff, decent breakfast

The hotel is on the other side of the interstate so you have to cross under the bridge to get to downtown SA. It's dark under the bridge and doesn't feel safe, especially at night.

It was near the riverwalk and Alamo so we could walk to everything.

The bathroom looked poorly maintained. Hair from the previous guests was all over the shower. The shower rod looked like it was about to fall out of the walls as it was hanging loosely. No TV guide. Couch looked pretty old and worn out. And 32$ to park under a bridge that wasn't secured, and only had 2 cameras that was blocked by a large light.

The breakfasts were great and staff were polite.

    Paying for parking.

Floors are stained from being pet friendly which can be expected. Paying for parking was a bit annoying considering your paying to stay, guess I overlooked that when I booked the rooms. Breakfast was good but wish there was more variety of food, but it's free so no complaints, just a recommendation.

If I were to nit-pick, I reserved the room for three beds and I had to ask for another blanket and pillow for the sofa bed.

I took my son and a friend of his there for a concert they attended. The staff was friendly, the hotel itself was clean, as was our room. Location was easy enough to find and quite close to the venue. Neighborhood seemed a bit sketchy at night but didn't have any issues. Breakfast was better than expected and they had lots to choose from. Hotel coffee was decent, which is a plus. Very happy with our stay.
