Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe only issue we had was that the tub seemed to drain a little slowly, but it wasn't enough to cause any inconvenience.
I stayed here overnight for a concert at the Golden 1 Center and I was pleasantly surprised. The room we had was very comfortable with two beds as well as a separate living room with a pull out sofa, microwave, and refrigerator. We were only two people so we didn't try the pull out, but the beds were just right and had plenty of pillows. It was quiet at night. Front desk staff was very friendly! The room seemed well cleaned and had enough towels, soap, etc. Parking area felt secure with a gate accessed with the room key. Breakfast in the morning had some good variety - waffles, eggs, sausage, along with yogurts, bagels, fruit, cereal, etc. The lemon water in the lobby is a nice touch! I plan to stay here again whenever I come back for more events.

FranceVery noisy location. We woke up several times at night because it's not well insulated from outside noise and the gas station right in front has a lot of activity going one at night

SwitzerlandAll plates, cups, cutlery, etc is one-way disposable and some of them even packed in an extra plastic. This is so unnecessary! There are a few home less people on the streets next to the hotel.
Spacious, clean room, friendly and helpful staff, shops and restaurants close by, only a 25 min walk to old sacramento, parking with a gate. Good breakfast.

United States of AmericaBacon was not an option with the continental breakfast 😞, the conditioner was empty (forgot to let them know. Also, there is usually a body wash, but they didn't offer one 🤷🏾♀️
Staff was nice and location was 10 minutes away from where I went to take my Notary exam. The guy that checked me in was friendly and a wealth of information. Guests were also friendly.

United States of AmericaThe neighborhood a little bit sketchy.
The staff and manager was exceptional. Although I was bit skeptical about the neighborhood, the manager eased my concerns and was very gracious because I was traveling with my elderly parent. Many thanks for your service.

United States of AmericaI enjoyed the roominess, coziness, and cleanliness of my King Suite. I loved that I had a sofa. The rate to book was great! And the deposit wasn’t excessive like other hotels. I appreciate the front desk staff for accommodating my needs. I appreciate that I had plenty of towels in the bathroom. I liked that the stairs were easily accessible from the location of my room. It was nice to have the complimentary water with cups centrally located for all hotel guests. And I definitely appreciated the complimentary breakfast. And lastly, it was great to have parking accessible with my key card.

United States of AmericaThis downtown area is not the best area in Sacramento with many homeless millng around, lying on the sidewalk or just hanging around outside.
The room was very spacious and clean. The AC worked really well. The bathroom was a nice size, too, with shampoo and conditioner strapped to the wall, as well as bar soaps and lotion. The Fitness Center has an elliptical, a bike, free weights and a treadmill. There is also a small business center and laundry room. I was impressed with the cleanliness and hygiene taken with the Breakfast selection. The coffee cups were indiividuallly sealed, the fruits were wrapped individually. There is a nice selection of cold cereals, fresh juices, breads and muffins. Also a waffle iron. While we were there, the housekeepers deep cleaned the carpets in the corridor. Checking in and checking out was quick and efficient. There is also a gate to the guest parking which provides much needed security in this area. This hotel is also convenient to many good eateries and activities.
