Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Wifi doesn’t have a password, and I kept getting messages that my information was exposed and site couldn’t be trusted because it wasn’t secure. google would not let me proceed to any pages. I couldn’t get work done. I think consider having a password to protect customer privacy. Rooms walls are super thin. You can hear everything they are saying next door and their tvs. You can also hear outside the rooms. I had issues first night checking in with booking. The system had not transferred my reservation. The Information booking has on hotel is wrong and they couldn’t verify hotel info. Please update phone and email on the booking.com system to make the process smoother. After an hour, the receptionist was able to get ahold of manager and they honored price. Not a big deal but it was a hassle. Receptionist was very helpful and doing everything she could at her end.
Overall hotel was very clean and staff was friendly and helpful. Indoor Pool, breakfast area, and laundry area was clean. Breakfast was good. Egg, sausage or bacon, biscuits, waffles, cereal, yogurts, breakfast bread. Coffee bar open all day. Area is new and upcoming and close to many things. H-E-B and restaurants are about 1 minute away and no need to get on main roads. Rooms are spacious and bedding is so comfortable. Parking wasn’t an issue. There was even an open land space to park if you have a trailer. Pet friendly. Great value.

I wish the hot tub was functioning when we went.
The breakfast was a nice continental boend of options. Staff was friendly and they helped us when my spouse left their travel bag and we had left town. They held it until we could return to pick it up.

I have stayed at many comfort suits but MIDLAND is by far my favorite one! It’s always so clean, comfortable, hot tub is amazing, and the breakfast is always good!

My room had a connecting door, and the door in my room didn't have a lock. I traveled alone this time, so it was a little concerning. I would like to have a dead bolt option on the door.

Very spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable. And there were plenty of towels. The lobby area was quite nice. Didn’t use the gym or pool but they appeared to be well taken care of.

The only thing is we didn't have blankets for the sofa bed and they were cleaning them but I fell asleep before I could get them but my kids were fine 🤣

The hot tub was out of service. This is not the fault of the local staff. The anticipated repair time will be into March. Upper level management should have been on this the instant it was reported.
Outstanding staff. Very convenient to several dining locations. Extremely convenient to HEB for snacks and beverages. Pool area was well maintained. Parking was easily accessible.
