Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe back bedroom had a creepy curtain that covered a utility area/emergency exit. There were awful noises coming from there, in the middle of the night (along with hot, electrical / mechanical type smells). Sounded like an animal or person trying to get inside. Didn’t sleep at all for fear of break-in or a fire. I notified the owner - no reply :(
The location was perfect for us, so close to Wrigley and transportation. We knew the train, street, and the Cubs crowd would be noisy, so we didn’t mind that at all. The place was cute (except for one area).

United States of AmericaThe stairs were not as expected! They became an issue! They were not clearly disclosed in the photos or descriptions. *not suitable for elderly or breathing impaired.
The location was awesome! I loved being so close to the stadium and action!

United States of AmericaTrash and weeds growing in the front yard. The walk in entrance was a little dirty and some lighting outside of unit 1 for night time entry would be nice.
Close to Wrigley Field. Parking passes were included. Very convenient to the red line train & do-rite donuts!

United States of AmericaThere were no parking permits, there were suposed to be available but were all gone. The floor in the bathroom was spongy causing the tile to be loose. Located directly under the railway tracks.
Excellent location for a Cubs game! The apartment was very clean. Everything functioned properly. Seemed like a good Neiborhood. Towels and bedding were clean and in good condition.

United States of AmericaThe extreme noise ,from the train behind the building.every 4 min the building shakes , for this reason the price needs to be less ,because other properties are charging less for no noise of the sort ,that noise is not a minor inconvenience, it's a extremely aggressive vibration and loud rattling every 4 min ,also the thermostat is set to 75 and you can not increase it any more than 75 degrees, there's a cold current that flows through the room ,so be cautious if you like it really warm ,it won't let you
I liked the location and ease of access, friendly host but no communication really besides brief texts ,which is fine ,someone new to the area would not understand the permit stickers and how to obtain them for parking, and a few other things need better explanation.

United States of AmericaNothing at all really, maybe the fact the shower and bathroom water didn’t work but I understand the weather and cold could have frozen the pipes
I’ve booked here before I love how quiet it is and how modern the apartment looks as well. Especially the bathroom showers are so nice!

United States of AmericaReally tired building, front door/hallway wasn’t lockable so we didn’t feel completely secure. Very little furniture and nothing comfortable except the mattress. Towels were pretty discolored and worn. Proximity to the area and the fact that we only used the place to sleep made it acceptable.

United States of AmericaThe floors looked clean, but all of our socks quickly proved there was grime. The ceiling was leaking when it rained in the living room. The 2 cots provided had some stains on them. Finally the seating in the living room needed cleaning as their was a lot of dirt and stains on them. You know, we wipe off our couches at home because hands and clothes eventually make them dirty.
There was a strict move-in time, so once we landed at the airport we had to drive around with all of our luggage. Being there for my mother-in-law’s funeral, we had a lot of stuff.

United States of AmericaNothing we disliked— but some people may not like the stairs, which can’t be helped. Parking in Chicago can be stressful, but the provided pass is great. We really lucked out and a street spot opened up.
The location- proximity to Wrigley Field is desirable. The decor was nice and the apartment was comfortable.
