I had a city-looking room that was close to the main road and it was quite noisy. However, not much traffic between 10pm and 6am, but if your sleep is light, you might prefer an ocean-looking room.

Well located to explore Kauai, friendly staff and comfortable rooms/beds. I got a booking deal, which made it a good value for money in an island where finding these kinds of deals are hard, so I'd stay there again if I could find the same deal.

The room was NOT anything like the pictures on website, it was dark,dingy and smelled. The upstairs were OK, the bottom floor not so much

Location was all this place had. Staff was great, when we arrived and got our room the air didn't work and after an hour of working on it, couldn't fix it, so they compted use a better room.

It’s very outdated and the room was not the cleanest.

The location was fantastic, definitely well priced for a spot right on the beach. Beds were comfortable. Close to many good restaurants.

A little run down but worth the view

The staff was great and the location was amazing. Totally worth sacrificing luxuries for the location and hospitality. Library, free bikes to ride.

We did see a couple of small cockroaches in our room

The ladies at the reception were super helpful when Beeding to grab some items for eating dinner and make change for laundry. Room was as described - so not a fancy resort but had what needed to heat meals etc

Parking is tight if busy. Had a birthday party when we arrived and parking was full. Elevator needs cleaning. Walls scratched in room from prior guests.

3rd floor room over looking beach. Porch doors open all night long with light breeze coming in. Sounds of the waves breaking on coral reef. Bike ride with complimentary bikes Walking/bike path pretty flat right along ocean.

The carpet could use an upgrade. And there was some rust on the refrigerator. But hey it is right next to salt water.

Great location. 100 feet to the beach. Wonderful views. Still has an old Hawaii feel and charm even though the rest of Kauai has become overcrowded.

The AC unit on our balcony ran constantly and was very noisy. The sheets didn’t fit the bed properly and kept coming off. The pool furniture was rusted and falling apart.

The oceanfront view from this property is exceptional!

The location was perfect for walking to restaurants, food trucks, stores and beaches.

The only downside was that the room was a bit dated

The location was exceptional. We walked right out our doors to the multiuse path and a small beach. It was perfect middle ground for traveling the island. A lot of restaurants and stores within walking distance. The employees were very friendly and helpful. Lastly the bed was probably the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in.

Not the best cleaning of the balcony. It was clean otherwise but the WC/shower was in need of renovation.

The road in front of the hotel can get pretty busy, sometimes hard to get out. Tight parking lot, but free. There are no hairdryers in room. They do have some you can borrow from the front desk, but that was inconvenient for me, either we came in late, and front desk area closed at 9 pm ( they had a call button for late checkin only)so I had to go to bed with wet hair, or say I'd shower in the evening and be ready to just be in my jammies, and would need to get dressed to return. I don't usually travel with a hair dryer anymore, as all places have them nowadays. It didn't bother me, but at least in my ground floor room, there were lots of roosters around the patio area, and were crowing early, so if you are not a sound sleeper and want to sleep late that may bother you.. But you see them all over the island.

Location was good for exploring all parts of island. Good breakfast area across street. Laundry area with one washer and dryer, good for a small load. Otherwise go to nearby laundromat. We stayed in a ground floor Oceanview king room Comfortable bed, has microwave and refrigerator. Patio overlooked beach. Beach Path steps from your door. Lots of local eateries close by. Our building had an elevator for other floors, but the other building only had stairs, so it that matters to you, FYI. We didn't use them, but they had a few bikes, if you wanted to use for no charge. Housekeeping by request only.

Right on the beachfront, such friendly family, atmosphere and welcoming! i’m celebrating my birthday and they even gave me a box of chocolates😘

The place was just great. Good location, staff was super friendly and willing to help, and the small terrace and view on the sunset is a big plus. Completely recommended
