Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The bed wasn’t all that comfortable, I thought it was a bit hard to sleep on. The room definitely had some wear and tear areas — the toilet handle needed to be adjusted a couple times in order to flush correctly and then stop running, and there was some damage to the bottom of bathroom door — but nothing too major.
Great location to stop for a night during the drive to our final destination. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite, which was great for my family (1 king bed in separate room, 2 queen beds in main room area) with the typical mini fridge and small coffee maker. Breakfast was good with lots of options, both hot and cold items. Staff was friendly. The price was definitely a bonus for all of us to stay (3 adults and 3 kids - ages 15, 6 and 4) and pet friendly for my 2 small dogs.

Their shuttle service does not start to the airport until 8 o’clock in the morning.

The fitness center was closed. I wasn't able to work out.
Renovations were great. Clean atmosphere and friendly staff. Well lit location, and we felt very safe.

The room smelled like mildew so that could have been better, the room wasn't cleaned because they were short of staff and they couldn't split the bill

Coffee maker had coffee grounds still in it and the coffee pot was dirty and we only had one cup. A/C would not go off and it was very cold. Light through window was very bright around the curtain.

Overall a cold hotel, floor with tiles felt cold, nothing in the room to make it feel like home. Bathroom could use an update as well as the room. Breakfast less than basic, toasters but no bread. Nobody there and very, very simple.
Clean beds but that’s probably all I can think off?

The pool was so cold you could not in joy it. Everyone I talked to said the same thing. It’s incredible cold.
It’s in a very nice location by the movies theater and lots of great restaurants. The staff was really friendly, the bed was super comfortable

Breakfast was basic and the coffee was very weak. It looks like the property has been under renovations for quite some time. There are old pieces of carpet out in the flower beds and lots of renovation materials.
The room size was good and it looked like the bathroom had been updated. The shower was great! Very hot and strong. There was a nice field beside the building where I could take my dogs.

The whole building needs an upgrade. It's an older building and our bathroom door needing to be replaced.
The size of the room was nice for 5 people. They were trying to make small upgrades with bathroom fixtures.

The smell of air freshener very strong covering another scent. I was also charged twice and I called for two days but the manager definitely made sure I was refunded diligently

Closing off breakfast area right at 9 AM. No sheets in room for sofa bed. Room not super clean. Found a few items from last guest (flosser, food wrapper) Room was listed as only for 3 guests, but easily could fit 4. King bed and sofas sleeper each sleep 2.

A lot of construction going on around but once it’s finished it will be nice. not able to choose a view for the room. We couldn’t open our blinds because people would be able to see us on the front end. otherwise good
Property was in a great part of town with restaurants and outdoor activities to do.
