Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaPool was closed and we weren’t aware until we checked in. It was being worked on. My kids were bummed. Maybe post on website so we would know ahead of time. Also, we were 15 min late for breakfast and I asked the kitchen staff very nicely if we could grab some food to go. At first she was very rude and didn’t want to help but when I mentioned I had kids and we were heading to the zoo, she was much happier and friendly. Maybe extend breakfast time slightly?
Location was great! Check in was easy. Rooms were close together and clean.

United States of AmericaIt could be cleaner and have friendlier employees for $140/night. I asked if they had a warm breakfast or anything gluten-free - because of covid I know that everything has changed- I received a very vague answer; when I tried to get some details still one of the employees was straight rude at the front desk. The check-in was ok.

United States of AmericaOur room had a window that opened and was right bu an exterior light. Unfortunately bugs could get in somehow and we killed several bugs near the window. Also, the window track was full of dead bugs.
It was right next door to gas and a 7-11. Close to Natural Bridge and Lexington.

United States of AmericaThe receptionist was courteous & friendly, but covered in tattoos and piercings, which was a little off-putting. Didn't see any maps or brochures regarding local events, activities, tours, etc., but that could have been because of COVID regulations. They still required masks whereas the hotel & restaurants we visited in northern VA (DC area) were more relaxed.
We did not eat the breakfast because we wanted to get on the road early. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. The common areas appeared to be clean also, but the facility looked a little dated. The hotel had a lot of guests, but it was still quiet.

United States of AmericaThe wifi wasn't operable and I ended up having to attempt the fading signal from my phone for internet access. The mask policy was not enforced and I didn't feel safe walking through the common areas or getting my breakfast. Rather than allowing one guest to make another feel uncomfortable, and possibly have to engage in a verbal confrontation--it would be reasonable and appropriate for the staff to have a small script as a courtesy rule enforcement for guests who stand inside of the designated safety distances, and who ignore the many signs regarding the required masks. It's not implausible to do and still serve your guests, you wouldn't be silent if the same guest walked out with a mini fridge in hand or without paying. My restroom had human solid waste on the back of the toilet upon my arrival. The sheets that were on my bed were soiled and needed to be discarded and replaced with fresh linen. It's not enough to bulk wash items. If they are visibly soiled, they should not be provided to the next guest. Many of the channels that were to my liking were unavailable, rendering the provided guide obsolete. The water temperature control in my bathroom sink was out of sorts. I would receive scalding water whilst having the dial turned slightly in the blue zone. The property had only one (1) elevator that was slow going. It's even more so noticable when there is only one (1) family allowed per trip and you must wait for it to return to you (hopefully empty and available). Upon performing a full hard surface wipe down, my Clorox wipes were soiled with dirt, which didn't provide much in the way of confidence in the cleaning procedures. There is too much pressure placed upon the two (2) cleaning staff members for the entire property. For what they charge for the type of room in the middle of the mountains, they should not cheap out in the most important area that guests come to expect, cleanliness.
The breakfast was very pleasant. There was a variety of selections and most items were reasonably safe to consume during the pandemic. The breakfast staff went out of their way to ensure the food was readily stocked and available.

NetherlandsBreakfast was somewhat disappointing, not very much choice and the quality wasn’t great either. We had a problem with our room cards on our second day and although it was fixed eventually, the staff barely spoke to us and wasn’t very friendly. Room was definitely pretty outdated.

United States of AmericaThere was a silver fish in the tub, I'm assuming it was there all night cause I saw it in the morning it didn't look like it had gotten too far. We also experienced some problems with the lights between the beds ... they didn't work. We left a note for the maid.
My husband complained that the mattress was too soft, but I was satisfied with it. Everything else was fine.

United States of AmericaDirty. Roach crawled out of the bathroom sink. Old peanut m&ms all over the floor. Furniture dirty and stained. Hotel was empty and I asked to be put on the first floor, they put me on the 4th. Front desk girl was vaping outside the whole night. Mold came out of the tub faucet into my kids bath. We spent way too much for this hotel, over $200. We got up at 2:00 am and left because I couldn’t sleep because it was so dirty.
Location was fine.

United States of AmericaCheck-in and check-out texts were intrusive. Pre-check-in policy is a bit labor intensive and requires full license plate and make and model, an uploaded picture of drivers license, and credit card verification (beyond booking.com). This is fine for the front desk to request, but not for a web-based day-of-travel extra chore. This front desk was strangely and particularly militant about getting the full license plate. I will not stay at a Raddison property for the foreseeable future. I also have a new rule - avoid places that feel the need to lock down their blue light alarm clock.
