Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Carpet needs cleaned and stretched. Someone can trip and get hurt.
Great location to everything. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was your standard hotel breakfast, but very clean and very friendly lady working the area. Front desk staff was prompt and friendly. Thank you

While a common style, the shower is a single dial from cold to hot with no ability to change the water pressure, which for me was way too strong. I felt like I was being beaten up by the water, even on the most delicate setting on the adjustable shower head.
Great price for a spacious accommodation. Solid floors rather than carpet in the room. Staff was generally available without being obtrusive. One of the best desks in a hotel I've used with a good office chair. Directly connected to Hwy 6 and a main road, but quiet at night. Breakfast was a step above basic continental.

The hotel appeared to have one very diligent and overworked staff member handling the front desk and running hard to resolve some other what appeared to be janitorial problems. She was very courteous and helpful but it was apparent that she ws heavily stretched.
The room was comfortable and clean.

1. There was leftover sushi in the microfridge freezer that had not been removed after previous guest. Rest of fridge appeared to have been cleaned, but it made me wonder... 2. There were 2 bath towels but only one washcloth & hand towel. Guest info said housekeeping was done every 3rd day unless requested by guest. I was there only 2 nights so I could make do, but I would have expected at least 2 full sets of bath linens.
Conveniently located to highway but still quiet. Comfortable bed & room temp. Friendly & helpful staff.

When we checked in our room had not been cleaned from the previous occupants. The staff got it dealt with very quickly and were extremely courteous about the whole situation. The room was very comfortable and spacious for our family. We are very appreciative the front desk staff and manager who made sure our stay was pleasant.

Some of the fixtures in room could use changing out, shower head etc.
Nicely layer out. Checked at about 8pm and young lady that checked me in was super nice person gave me a bunch of very useful info on hotel. Hotel is very luck to have her working Friday night.

Breakfast could have more variety I am not sure why they charge me $25 extras when I arrived. I was told that this will be reimbursed after I completed my stay but, I did not see the reimbursement on my credit card

The bed was not as comfortable as the last visit. Too hard. The refrigerator wasn’t stable. Missing a foot I’m guessing.
I love the location. I love the breakfast. The staff is very welcoming and nice.

The scrambled egg whites. I know that sounds like a menial thing, but, I needed the protein and the energy to help my son move into a dorm on the 4th floor.
Location was perfect. Breakfast of really good, but I don’t care for scrambled egg whites. I needed the protein. Also, my son has a gluten allergy, so egg whites wasn’t enough.

The breakfast was good but I wish they'd had a bit more variety. They had no decaf coffee except in the single serve packets in the rooms. It's the only hotel I've ever been to with no decaf in the breakfast area.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was quiet. The pillows were especially comfortable!
