Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The initial room they put us in smelled of smoke--even though a non-smoking room. We requested a new room and after a short bit were moved to another room. Much better and no smoke smell! Manager was helpful and accommodating.

The room needed lots of work. Sink was clogged. Shower water turn on just turned in circles (needed fixed). Door extra flip lock fell off and needed to be replaced.
Indoor pool and hot tub. Nice area set up by gas pit. Beds were comfortable.

I've stayed here before and will stay here again, but the particular room had some "missed" areas on the bathroom counter and there was a musty smell. However, the 2 other family members arrived before me, so I couldn't tell if the smell was there before they arrived.
I really like the location in relation to the airport. Especially going to the airport, the trip is very easy. The room accommodated 3 adults easily. Breakfast was good.

The wait to get checked in. I am sure we came on a bad day because there was a concert that day.

The room was very worn down…rusted vent in bathroom, spots on ceiling/walls that were patched but not painted, spots in the tub that were repaired but did not match rest of tub.
We liked the location of the property, staff and quality of the breakfast.

The rooms were a bit small they needed to have tables for kids to sit at and eat or play. The pool was nice but the bottom of it was breaking apart. My granddaughter scrapped her knee on bottom and we pulled up pieces of cement pebbles that was sitting on bottom of pool.
Close to restaurants, it had indoor pool for the kids and a hot tub for adults. It was clean and they had the best breakfast layout of any hotel I ever stayed at.

TV remote was funky. After hitting the power button, I had to do a channel up or down to see anything other than a blank screen.
Needed a location close to the Interstate at a reasonable price and this fit the bill. Ended up doing a Track Tour of Indy before getting back on the road and was happy to see it was pretty close! The staff was very friendly!

This part has nothing to do about the hotel itself but a heads up before you book. If you book this place for its pool just know that it’s a tiny pool with 40 other people trying to swim as well. It was so loud in pool area and it’s such a small space and everything echos that it was physically hurting both our ears. We were swimming right next to each other and had to yell and we still couldn’t even hear each other so we had no choice but to stop swimming and the pool was that busy the whole time we were there. People were slamming doors and running down the hallways at all hours of night. My husband and I woke up nonstop because of this. The hotel also smells like weed every where you went. So if you are like us and just wanted a place to take your kiddo swimming for the day and just get away, you might what to know these things ahead of time.
The rooms were super clean and nice and the breakfast was good and the stuff was nice.

The pillows were the worst. The were about half the size of a standard pillow and those airy kind that go flat as soon as you lay on them.
The staff was very helpful and nice. The breakfast was great and the hotel was clean! The hotel was exactly what I was expecting.

By the time it took to get my luggage out of the vehicle we were already checked in by the lady at the front desk. Very impressive especially after a long day of traveling.

The amount of space for breakfast hours doesn’t quite accommodate all guests that attend during the rush hours
Location was good very close to a lot of restaurants and the breakfast was really good. We enjoyed the waffle maker making large waffles. The kids really enjoyed the pool as well
