Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

There was orange juice in my fridge (not mine) and a wet face cloth in the bathroom.
I really liked the kitchen staff, Bee. She was friendly and served unusual items like chorizo sausage.

Front desk SHOULD have an updated list of clean, quest ready rooms. We were tired after 8hr drive and needed to take rest but front desk assigned us a room that was not done...not once but TWICE. Finally front desk got it right the 3rd time. Things happen but our experience should have the management review how list of clean, guest ready clean rooms are properly relayed to the front desk.
Location is perfect for those travelling along 90. Room and facility are clean. Breakfast is great.

The air conditioning in the room turned on and off loudly and the fan would not just stay on as we had set it to do. Tough sleeping with the noise it made.
The staff, the beds, WiFi, towels, shower. all good. Bee and Jeannie were great.

Doing renovations at moment, so no breakfast service, which means you get paperbag with orange and cheese bun in it - hardly same as normal breakfast. Pool also not in service - nil discount offered.
Nice rooms, comfy beds, great lady at reception.

That we had to book an extra room. The information on Booking was not correct
Nice staff, good rooms but we we booked for 5 persons and there were no rooms for 5 persons so we had to pay for an extra room what almost doubled our costs.

Pool is been closed for sometime no notification of this on the booking website for on the hotels website that is down for maintenance.

there was a theater group staying there too. they came in at 12:30 and were noisy until 1:00.

Pillows a little lumpy! Noticed some dirt around base of toilet. Toilet had a problem flushing and the tank didn't always fill. Front desk at first wasn't sure what to do. I played around with it, and it was fine the rest of the night. I know the front desk girl was trying to figure out a solution when I was able to fix it. She did her best but seemed unsure what to do. Would have preferred an arm chair to sit in instead of the chair 🪑. Not comfortable!
Staff is amazing from the front desk too the cleaning staff! Everyone we came in contact with smiled, said hi, and asked how we were! Location is great, right off of the interstate, a few restaurants in walking distance!

Smell of cigarettes in the lobby was offputting, but no other major complaints.
We stayed just one night at this place on our drive back to Chicago. It was a nice place to rest; clean, the beds were comfy, no noises or any disturbances. We didn't try the breakfast so can't speak for that, but there was conveniently a fridge in the room and the wifi worked well.

Facility was a bit dated and could use some refurbishment. Towels were small and not soft. Shower wasn't very nice.
Bed was comfortable and everything was adequate for a good night's rest. Overall the experience met my expectations considering the price.

Noisy it was a busy weekend but you could hear everything through the doors and we were traveling with an 8 month old.
The bar tender (kim) was phenomenal. So personable.and great!

Although the room was spacious and the beds comfortable, I found the room not as clean as it should be. Found paper behind the end table, bathroom corners were pretty dusty, and ripped furniture. With Covid, I was expecting a cleaner and neater place. Breakfast was great and we really appreciated it, but would be nice to bring back the breakfast staff. The front desk girl was doing double duty, having to service the breakfast station, as well.
The front desk woman was pleasant. She seemed a bit frazzled, since it appeared she was the only one there.
