Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The bar soap was too small. Pillows could have been updated. Not too many complaints with this motel.
The cost was reasonable. Check out was smooth. Service desk person was friendly and informative. easy access. Television channels were overwhelming.

Breakfast was very sparse. I bring my own breakfast foods but if you're looking for a huge spread and assortment of breakfast items, this is not the place.
Room was clean and ready for me when I arrived. Location is right off the highway and near restaurants.

The smell in the lobby. Smelled like someone had smoked something, just an odd scent. Could not smell it in the room though.
The room had a microwave, refrigerator and coffee pot. The room was clean and well maintained. Had plenty of storage/places to put your things.

No big complaints honestly. These things are just nitpicky: Rooms are on the smaller side - could barely get the luggage cart in the room (queen room). There was some noise between 3-4am, lots of doors closing and distinctly heard a circular saw for several quick cuts! When I asked the front desk about any construction she said she didn’t hear anything - hard to believe but okay. Lastly, at first I noticed a smell (not smoke smell but another smell trying to mask the smoke is my guess)- must’ve been a smoking hotel at one point, but it really wasn’t overpowering and I didn’t notice it after 30 minutes in the room. None of this would prevent me from staying here again or recommending this hotel!
Easy to find the building, close to the highway and close to town. Very friendly young woman at the front desk, easy check in. Building and interior seemed recently repainted so it was clean looking - simple, but perfectly acceptable. AC worked great. Room was very clean. Breakfast was completely setup and coffee ready 5 min prior to 6am, very happy about that. Well lit parking lot, felt relatively secure with the motorcycle parked out front.

Don’t expect a gourmet breakfast. There is food that will help you make it to lunch. And it’s free. Face life with gratitude, not attitude.
This is an older hotel without a lot of extras. We don’t need extras we just need clean, comfortable, and these days affordable. So this place was perfect. There was a small snafu when we checked in, but the clerk was so kind and repentant we were fine with the results.

Breakfast looked very basic. I had coffee which there was only regular and decaf. No creamers either. Sometimes its the little things that make a difference. The exterior was just ok for walking my dog.
I was just passing through so this property met my expectations for an overnight stay. Bed was comfortable, room was clean and there were the extras such as small refrigerator, microwave, shampoo, etc. The pet fee was only $15!

I couldn't eat the breakfast as it was all carbs but was able to get food at the McDonald's right across the street. Other than that, we were very satisfied with our experience.
The bed was comfortable and the location was right off of I-55 which was convenient. There wasn't a lot of highway noise despite the location.
