To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaWhen I made the reservation I asked for an East facing room and was put in a West facing room. Also, had I not had the security lock on the door, housekeeping would have walked in uninvited. It would help if they actually knocked on the door instead of tapping on the door with a room key.
The location was not easy to get to because of the road changes on Parmer Lane, however I've stayed at this location a few times and fell safe there when traveling alone.

United States of AmericaThe air conditioner in our room was a tad noisy, but it didn't keep us up at night. Just something we noticed may need to be serviced more frequently.
We stayed for a concert we were attending at the Moody Theater. I felt like this hotel was in a great location because we were able to travel to downtown Austin easily (Just jump on to I35) and the drive didn't take long at all. At the same time, it was far enough out that you didn't feel like you were in the traffic and bustle of downtown. Our next trip to Austin, this is where we will be staying!

United States of AmericaThe one con, and it can be a big one, was noise. The property was rather noisy. We were able to hear all the activity in the surrounding rooms. Every time a door was slammed, we were jolted awake. People checking out early in the morning kept us awake too. The walls are very thin and there’s no insulation against noise. If noise is an issue for you, you might struggle here.
The hotel was very well situated and the location was perfect for our needs. The staff were very courteous, pleasant and helpful. The room was as expected. The check in and check out process were easy and seamless.

United States of AmericaOnly complaint would be a 9am knock from room service. I’d suggest do not disturb door cards for guest to put out if they are not needing room service/housekeeping. Otherwise we had a great stay.
Very nice location and located in a nice area. The room was clean, the staff was very friendly, and the room was at a reasonable price. Would definitely book here again.

United States of AmericaWhen we went down for breakfast, the only things there was apples and a few pastries. Our key cards were cancelled before we had finished getting everything out of our room ( around 11:00 - check out time was 12). We would have been out sooner but we had to go buy breakfast.
