Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

That I had to pay additional fee for parking , hotel was costly enough. Parking or breakfast should gave been free.
I liked that the hotel was connected to the arena.

The room we got was facing the main street, and it got a bit loud. There was an ac on the wall where noose was filtered through, even though the room had a thermostat which controlled the climate. They should remove the ac’s.

Convenient location for work but wouldn’t stay in this area if you are a tourist! Not many restaurants nearby but that was okay for me for one night! Very friendly staff and complimentary coffee and water all day

The heating system shuts off after you reach a certain temperature and then it gets cold. The comforter is too light for The winter. The pillows should be king sized and better quality for a king size bed.

Quite convenient location, polite staff, high level of service. The room was better than expected, comfortable bed, coffee machine. The only problem in the room is the lack of USB connectors. Many thanks for your hospitality.

I didn’t like that there wasn’t a microwave in the room. It was very annoying and inconvenient to have to go all the way to the lobby when I wanted to heat up food.

Very expensive, limited options inside the hotel for food. Coffee machine was dirty. Staff is not necessarily friendly. Lack of info when it comes to the parking. Be aware is not free but this is not clear if you book through Booking.com They also charged my room for room service when they do not have room service and the coffee I purchased was paid on the spot. I called them to inquire about these charges and the rep I got was rude and kept inhaling and exhaling like he was aggravated. I was only inquiring about these charges and did so with grace even though he was not nice at all. Kept saying the parking rate is on their website but I reserved through Booking, not them.
Great location, we bought tickets for a concert in Prudential Center and love the ability to just walk the hall without the hassle of finding a parking spot or getting out afterwards.

No free parking.
I liked the location. It was conveniently close to the Prudential Center. The sky bridge connection in the car garage made it easy to access our concert.

Prudential center events can get in the way of parking but as long as you plan ahead you are ok. I would recommend staff warn guests of those days in advance. Other than that the garage was awesome and I felt my vehicle was safe.
The room was nice and clean and the staff were helpful and the room was always serviced appropriately.

Nothing big to complain about, but the lobby was very warm and the toiletries in the room were just sufficient. If you're traveling by train, budget a little extra time to navigate Newark Penn Station, since wayfinding there isn't the best.
The room was very comfortable, especially the AC on a hot weekend. The location was also convenient; I was able to walk to Newark Penn Station, the Newark Museum of Art, and plenty of restaurants. I think it was a decent place to stay for an event at Metlife Stadium.

The heat in the hotel lobby was awful! The a.c. could be fixed...
Hotel was located right next to our concert venue. A lot of businesses nearby and people staying in the hotel were friendly.
