Stayed there while atending a wedding. An after party get together was suposed to be in the lobby bar, but it closed at 10pm on a Friday nght. Too early for any bar to cloase. Packaged goods options weren't any good.

Good location, free parking. The hotel is located next to very cool entertainment district. There's probably a dozen craft breweries and beer bars within a 10 minute walk and a bunch of good restaurants. Very surprising and a great 'extra' while staying at the property. Downtown Richmond was probably a 15-minute drive. Easy access to Civil War Museum and other historic sites.

Paying for parking. No free breakfast. I don't recall the hotel clerk advising me that there was a charge to park at the hotel. The booking.com website I used, also didn't note it. I do see it listed on the official hotel website, but you have to search for it. I generally do not book at hotels that charge for parking. I feel this is a an extra cost that can be avoided by staying elsewhere. In this particular case, I was visiting an elderly relative that lives in the apartment, 600 feet from the hotel. I could have parked at her place for free, had I know there was a charge. Had I known, I also would have provided a bank debit card instead of my major credit card, which will now have an extra $12 fee that I wasn't anticipating.

Towel had a stain. No body wash in the bath had to ask for a new bottle. House keeping never checked if we need more towels or anything for the room.

The parking gets full very fast, didn't like having to park across the street in an open, and unsurvalianced parking lot

Shampoo dispenser was empty and could not get any from staff after calling down to the front desk and asking the Cleaning staff. Also needed to call the front desk various times to find out Internet code and what time check out. None of this information was in the room.

The room air conditioners were noisy and worked erratically. I couldn’t figure out how to regulate the temperature. And our doors did not operate very well - it stuck and was very loud when closing.

The lobby bistro major disappointment. Out of many food items. Took forever to get dimplenfood. Closed after early breakfast hour so when came down at 11 could get no service.

Parking. There was no parking in the attached facility so my family and I at 1am had to park across the street in a dark lot and walk to check in. Secure parking would have made the stay much better.

Breakfast was good, pricy for what it was.
