The mattress was very soft and the couch and balcony furniture was not comfortable. The amusements in the adjacent parking lot looked junky.

The location with the view of the beach and the proximity to restaurants and bars was convenient. The Starbucks on site was nice.

Room could have been more cleaner and sanitized. There was stains on one of the comforters and lots of dust on hard surfaces such as lamps, tv stand, floors, and bed areas. Bathroom had hairs in shower and sink.

One elevator was broken. The remaining elevator wasn't able to keep up with the high demand of the hotel being full.

We went on New Year's Eve and expected a crowd and noise. However, the hotel was very quiet and there was plenty of parking. All of the staff went out of their way to be nice. We could hear and see the ocean from our bed on the 10th floor. At midnight, we were able to see the fireworks display at Kure Beach from the beach in front of the hotel. Several good restaurants within walking distance.

The only flaw was this weekend there was only one elevator working, so that was the only inconvenience I had due to wait time for the elevator.

On checking out, didn't know I had to pay for parking especially when I paid over $500 a night, outside pool closed at 9pm, usually most pools close at 11pm,

DISLIKES: Told 3 night stays only had room attention every other day, which was perfectly fine. Unfortunately, no maid service was ever done. Our room was across the hall from the Housekeeping Dept's rooms. The hallway always had carts in the way. One day the hall was impassable due to two carts being parked side by side - we moved one directly behind the other to clear the hall for the safety of others as well as ourselves. The street (Charlotte Ave) leading to the hotel entrance is easy to miss. Perhaps some type of small hotel 'marker'. One day an 'Arnold Palmer' mixed drink was ordered at the poolside Tiki bar. The bartender advised she wasn't familiar with what that was, so we explained, lemonade, sweet tea, and vodka. The drink cost $12, and was very watered down lemonade, no iced tea and negligible vodka. I wish we had just been told the drink was unavailable.

Our sink wouldn’t drain so we had to take out the plug to get the water to drain very slowly which was disgusting. We told the staff as soon as we got in the room but it wasn’t fixed until next day.

My Bartenders were the highlight of the hotel stay, extremely friendly and funny. Laura and Katie ( I think that’s her name short hair cut and loves to dance 💃🏽) every cocktail they made was GREAT!!!!

The rooms were not as clean as I would have expected. We had to ask if we wanted them to come clean the room or to even get towels and the trash taken out. The pools were not very clean and had way too much chlorine in them.

The location is great. It is convenient to the boardwalk and many shops and restaurants. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful.

- the hotel doesn’t worth the price, ( super pricey ) 2-. the bathroom was dirty and had mold and this odor like urine, like no one cleaned it, 3.- breakfast is not included , at least they should include the breakfast for the price you pay.
