Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaNo in-room coffee maker or microwaves. Bathroom counter is tiny and lighting in the bathroom is dim. DirectTV remote wouldn't do channel selection + channel list was a bit limited.
Very friendly, service-oriented staff. Property and rooms were immaculately clean. Excellent location - close to many dining options and not far from the center of Fort Collins. Free, safe parking.

United States of AmericaI think the hotel I was at is understaffed. Hence the service (especially the cleaning service) is not great. Instead of having your guests ask for supplies, it would be easier to have cleaning of your room every other day as a rule when you stay more than 3 days, which I did.
The location is great for me. It's a couple of miles outside of town, but there are so many stores and restaurants nearby that makes everything so convenient. But most importantly, it's quiet. I really enjoy the backyard with a fire pit. The receptionist was exceptionally welcoming and helpful.

United States of AmericaThe light in the sink area was not bright enough. The bathroom fan was very loud; otherwise, it was very good.
We liked the host, Scott - friendly, helpful, knowledgeable. The bed was comfortable. The outside courtyard was a nice touch. We used it twice within our 20-hour stay.

If not for the fact that we were visiting family, I would have normally insisted on an in-room safe.

United States of AmericaI hate the wrap-the-comforter-in-a-flat-sheet bed linen thing. Get some duvet covers so the comforter is actually protected and wash it regularly. Lighting in the room was awful --switch the LED bulbs to 2700 Kelvin for more flattering light for guests. The Bistro was technically closed due to COVID (because of protocols or staffing issues, I don't know which) and a "grab and go" breakfast was available instead. The breakfast was the most pitiful of any I had on my trip (which included 9 hotel stays at a variety of national chains): packaged baked goods full of processed junk, prepackaged cereal but only one variety, anemic fruit (oranges that were almost yellow), prepacked hardboiled eggs, and sweetened yogurt. It was really disappointing. I'd rather they discounted the room and not served breakfast at all. There was a great NY-style bagel place within walking distance (they couldn't have a standing order with them?). Signs indicated ice was available at the Bistro (though the arrows did not point in any direction that would lead to the Bistro --it was comical). I did not readily find a standard hotel ice machine so I asked the front desk. I was told it was "in the Bistro" --no other direction given. The only ice visibly apparent is BEHIND the counter, like you would find at a bar or restaurant. As I went to scoop my ice, a Bistro staff person scolded me for being behind the counter getting my own ice. Everything else seemed to be self-serve so why not the ice? Was I supposed to ask staff to get it for me? No idea! Was rather turned off by the experience. Also, pet fee was $20 PLUS $30 cleaning fee! $50 for ONE NIGHT?! Outrageous! That is twice the rate of other hotels and was not disclosed at time of booking.
Room was very clean and opened onto a grassy courtyard with a few seating areas. Pool had a colored light underwater that my kids really loved.

United States of AmericaIf you have a lot to carry or are disabled, be sure to request a ground floor room (there is only one elevator on the far end of the hotel that goes up to the second floor, so if you're disabled or carrying a lot, if your room is on the second floor, but the opposite end, that could be difficult).
The staff was kind and accommodating - really excellent. Everyone I talked with for any reason was really sweet and quick to respond. Good location - there is pretty much everything you might need nearby. Decent price. Very clean.

United States of AmericaWe bought a King Room via bookings.com and ended up two Queen beds. The hotel told me that bookings.com does this, will sell a room that is not available. It was not a big deal for us, but could see it as a big deal for some people. I will be following up with Billings.com on this.
Breakfast was great, even with Bistro closed for COVID
