The only complaint is that the AC was loud. Also, We were in a room with a door adjoining our room and the next, which meant that we could hear the neighbor’s TV. While the adjoining doors are handy for large families, the rooms would benefit from better sound mitigation. And, frankly, it was my mistake accepting a room with the doors- should have asked for a different room. I’m guessing they would have accommodated that.

The Courtyards are the younger siblings of the Fairfields and are still very comfortable and have very similar amenities. Our King room was spacious, with a couch to create a separate sitting area. The bed was very comfortable, the room modern and clean and the staff very helpful and attentive. The hotel is a quick drive to downtown Middlebury and has some fast food and a grocery store across the street. Very handy. We would certainly stay here again.

Ac system wasn't working in first room but only because they were just switching the system over for the colder season

The town has no taxi or uber. If you do not have your own vehicle, you will be walking a lot.

The room and facility is nice but to my opinion overpriced. The town is little and the location is not close to the center. in order to be that pricey. Breakfast was not included. I have paid for breakfast and removed meats from it and was still charged full price for it. The staff is very nice, came to the rescue each time needed. We loved the fresh air, lots of nature, very clean town and nice people!

Dirty bathroom fan, as said no microwave but was one in room for meal, told they could not accommodate gluten free diet need after I arrived. Could have brought my own meal from home with the microwave in room.

Back stairs to parking lot were deep in snow and ice. A bit treacherous while carrying luggage. A hazard to navigate!

There are no microwaves in the rooms and the hot tub was closed for repairs.

This property was conveniently located. The rooms were clean. Shower had great water pressure. The bed was amazingly comfortable. The staff was very accommodating. There are several entrances making it easy to avoid the business of the lobby.

Food was an issue. For dinner, even though you opened at 6 pm, we were told that there would be no bacon available until 6:30 pm. Breakfast was the real issue. You had a breakfast menu up, but then took it down Tuesday night and put it back up by Wed morning, but then we were told almost nothing was available. Why did you put it back up? Set expectations for what we wanted (e.g. french toast) to be told that only scrambled eggs were available. This was the reason we rated the hotel as low as we did. Makes no sense. You have a menu up and we were told by the front desk that you knew you could not deliver on most items on the menu you put up. Really stupid and unacceptable.
