Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ItalyWe booked a room for 3 with king size bed + sofà bed. The sofa bed was not ready. I asked bed to be done but no way, housekeeping was absent.
Very good room. Location ok if you have a car or if your activities are close to the place. Personnel reduced at minimal. Breakfast to be ordered a la carte, service slow, some ingredients missing, not really happy with this bfast

United States of AmericaFinding the lobby to check in was a problem. The front door on the street is a bus stop so you can park there ... you have to access the building, if driving, via an alleyway to a lower level and then a screened garage door opens, but there is nothing to tell you that that is the entry ... it could have been a private parking garage. There is a sign on the street that says its a Courtyard but nothing that says "Lobby This Way." We ended up; driving around the block a few times trying to find how to get into the building. Eventually, we figured it out ... I called the front desk and was put on a "quick" hold, for 8 minutes and then found the way in by ourselves, unloaded bags and walked up to the lobby with my phone on hold when they answered as we were getting off the elevator. Frustrating end to a long day of driving.
We were visiting the UW Medical Center and this was close to that.

United KingdomThe bistro was closed for evening food as no chef. Also the breakfast price included - it was not clear this is a capped value to be used in the over- priced bistro so the breakfast was not value for money.
The reception lady was lovely. The room was very luxurious with a comfy bed and Netflix. We slept well, shame about the food situation.

United States of AmericaParking at the hotel was confusing. The parking garage is below the hotel. There is no parking lot or parking on the street. I was curious why there were no screens on the windows. The luggage carts were impossible to find. The staff did find us one when we checked in. When we checked out, we were told that there were only 6 luggage carts. The other guests must have had them in their rooms before check out time? My daughter found one in the parking garage when she took some of our items to our truck. I had asked for a room that was close to the elevator as I have bad knees. I don't think that was addressed.
The hotel was very clean. The staff was very polite.

CanadaParking was full every night and couldn’t find a spot even though was paying for it. Tiny spots as well so a few spots didn’t have cars - but the other cars were so in the spot couldn’t fit my car in them.
Room was comfortable and extremely clean. Nice and quiet as well. Never heard a noise from the other rooms. Also very close to things like gas stations, Starbucks, and target

CanadaI didn’t like the fact that when we booked the hotel there was no mention that it was a cashless venue. We had taken US money so that any charges would not be put on our credit card as being from Canada we would be paying a lot more because of the exchange rate. Not impressed with that.
It was clean and close to family that we were visiting.

United States of AmericaDidn't provide things like lotion that aren't necessary of course but appreciated when they are available (and you forgot to pack lotion). The parking elevator could sometimes be slow, and having to pay $20 for parking is a little annoying.
This hotel was, as they say, above my pay grade. I don't know if I've ever stayed in a hotel this nice before but the price was right on. We had a 'suite' with 2 TVs and a lot of seating and a super comfy bed. This was our last night of our long road trip so it was great to be able to sprawl out all the bags and suitcases for organizational purposes and still have room to spare. Internet was fine, TVs were nice. We wanted to stay close to the zoo and this was perfect.

United States of AmericaThe AC fan in the room never shut off. There is probably a good reason for this but it was annoying because my wife is a very light sleeper. I specifically selected this hotel because of location and it offered parking. The $20 charge for parking was a surprise but did not seem unreasonable. The $30 charge for parking on my credit card seemed like they were taking liberty with pricing.
Room was spacious. Bed was very comfortable. Parking spots were large and elevator was conveniently located. Hotel was close to restaurants and attractions.

CanadaLighting in the parkade (got into an incident and smashed the entire rear windshield when backing into the parking space. Lighting masked the protruding top section of the wall (the wall was not flat from to to bottom) so when backing up my SUV, the vehicle hit the wall and completely damaged my window. Poor lighting did not allow me to see the different depth of the wall. No markings indicating "Cautious when backing In', only caution was for "High Voltage" of the area. Doesn't almost $600 getting the window fixed; Super tight parking spots
Room was super modern and clean, loved the shower and how spacious it was; the shower amenities like the shampoo, conditioner and body wash smelt amazing, really enjoyed the products
