We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.

Parking was a bit confusing - including how much you could be charged. Also room temperature gauge didn’t work well - causing the room temperature to fluctuate.
Location was excellent- we could even walk to the Metro and dined at close by restaurants. Staff personnel were excellent and friendly- especially the front desk.

The bathroom is a bit outdated and needs upgrading. The staff at the front desk could have been a bit friendlier. Figuring out the parking in the garage was a bit difficult.
The room was very clean, bed was comfortable. It was very quiet, even though we were staying in a room right near the elevator. Would stay here again.

Two problems. Being first-timers we were unclear about where to park and how to enter the hotel. A little sign out front is hardly clear enough to direct people to the parking garage and that we had to go to the 5th floor of the garage to register. Better signage would help. And this information should have been on the email confirmation we received. Number two problem was that our room was right above a courtyard and loud talking and laughter kept us awake past midnight the first night of our stay. Thankfully, it rained the second night and there were no distractions.
The location was close to the Metro and bus services. Excellent restaurants were in walking distance.

The walls were a little thin. If our neighboring guests got a little loud, we could hear them.

The gym is closed and breakfast was not included in the price.
The Marriott Courtyard is well situated if you are staying in Silver Spring, there are shops and restaurants nearby. The room was comfortable and clean and the lobby area had plenty of space for sitting and gathering.

We did have one issue of the cleaning staff not completing their required cleaning , but this was quickly remediated by reaching out to the front desk.
I truly enjoyed my stay at this hotel . The room was clean, the bed was comfy and the Starbucks in the lobby is quite convenient when needing a cup of coffee to start the day. I also quite enjoyed the location of this hotel as you are in the center of downtown Silver Spring which is full of activities, shopping and dining . I will definitely stay here for my next visit .

I don't readily have anything negative to say. Better hotel experiences I've had dipped more into the luxury side of things, with enhanced decor and spa features.
Super sweet and helpful staff. Very clean room, conveniently located. I was pleasantly surprised to see the parking lot directly attached to the building; the hotel listing here does not do justice to the convenience of the parking situation!
