The building is old and will be rebuilt soon we were told. So while it was very clean, it's very old and in need of updating for sure.

The hotel was dated, bathroom was a bit small but everything worked fine. It was a great place for the price!

The location is unbeatable. The hotel is definitely dated but it didn’t bother us, we loved being able to walk from our room to the beach in less than 5 minutes. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, we cannot say enough good things about them.

The property is run down but it is closing down in May for Renovations. I just hope the construction saves the charm of this Villa like property!

This property is a great value! Right on the beach which is the main reason i chose it!! Also as others have commented before, Miss V is hands down the nicest, sweetest lady! So close to the main areas and is walkable .

We hate that the new owners decided to tear Courtyard Villa down to rebuild a larger hotel. We only found that out once we arrived for our last trip. We are very happy we got the chance to visit one last time but are sad to see it go. So, if you've become attached to the place like we have, you better plan a quick last trip as we were told it comes down in May or June. We are told Miss V will continue her very important role in the new hotel. If we go back to LBTS in the future, Miss V would definitely be the most important factor when deciding where to stay. Although we are not real fond of modern-day hotels, preferring boutique hotels with charm and character, we will definitely consider the new hotel if and only if Miss V is there :) It was apparent the hotel has not been maintained as well since our last trip. It's just a shame the property cannot be refurbished rather than demolished.

We just returned from our 4th trip to LBTS in the last 6 years. We could choose any hotel, vrbo, airbnb we want and we always chose Courtyard Villa! We chose it for its beautiful beachfront location, proximity to restaurants and shopping, the charm and character of the villa (we have yet to find a boutique hotel that we love this much) but especially because of Miss V. She is truly a gem with a heart of gold! If you haven't had a chance to meet and really visit with her, you have missed out! She is wonderful and will bend over backwards to help anyone out and make your stay amazing. We've always had a 2nd floor beachfront balcony when we stay. The ocean/beach views and sounds of the waves crashing from the balcony rooms are incredible. The patio area in the back and the hot tub in the courtyard are great common areas to meet others staying at the hotel.

That it was so outdated, and the kitchenette really needed to be renovated. You can see that there was quite a bit of water damage.

Loved that there was such beautiful architecture and it was small and quaint. I I hope they will just renovate the rooms and let the building stay as is. Ms. V couldn't be nicer. The staff was very accommodating, helpful and friendly. I loved the rooms, accommodations and guests.

The artificial turf upstairs balcony space needs to be replaced. Some of the furniture could be updated

We enjoyed the hot tub in the courtyard and the patio overlooking the beach/ocean. Both of these areas are charming and relaxing with palm trees and provide a good space to interact with other guests if you so desire. We also enjoy using the space on the balcony to play a game of corn hole. Courtyard Villa is a small boutique hotel with a very friendly atmosphere that the housekeeper Miss V helps to cultivate. Miss V is a gem and will be sure to make your stay a pleasant one. The building may be getting old but it has a unique charm that is hard to beat.

Rooms were clean, but a little maintenance would go along way! The facility looks like it's being neglected, shame because it's such a great location, and really neat location. That being said I would go back.

No lock on back gate from beach after hours. Our door with windows was covered with a blanket and straw mat. They could at least put blinds on it!
