The ceilings were very low. The bathroom was especially low. The bathroom floor was uneven. I didn't care for the firm and oversize pillows. There was little space to spread out. It's a small room. The reservation and room were overly filled with instructions and rules. It felt more like a BnB.

I was appreciative of the staff's help with check-in and in giving some help with finding a laundromat. I liked the cute decor of the room and the outside. There were little things that made me feel extra welcome.

Too many rusty objects as cowboy decorations. Metal window cover inside room was at head height hard not to hit it in the dark. Bed was soft and needs replacement.

It's a motel, so don't expect the four seasons. The only thing that would've been cool is if the on premises store was open a bit later.

We loved our stay at the Cowboy Country Inn. It's located right in town and has everything you need for a one or two night stay. Our room had super cute decor, a comfy bed, and great water pressure in the shower. And most importantly, everything was clean! Would definitely stay here again.

Very nice clean two decent rooms combined, with a cowboy look. I just recently realized owner operated hotels in good neighborhoods are the way to go, they care more then chain motels, but the price is vary from inexpensive / to a little higher. I think it's worth it. I sent pictures back home because wall art / kitchen table really neat. You don't see that anywhere...

There was no employees on premises that we could see/identify. everything was self check in, which went well, but a little inconvenient . Had to walk down to the store to pick up ice.

While the wifi password was noted in the room guide, it would be simpler to put it on the slip of paper in the check-in envelope.

Double room with comfortable beds. Property manager was very helpful and responsive. Self check in was easy.

Even though it was only in the 40's outside overnight the a/c units of the adjacent units were running all night which kept me awake.

We both liked this cozy motel It was clean and our stay was pleasant What I did not like was, that nobody was there when we got there It was perfectly organized and we found our key without any problem. It is just nice to have somebody at the reception, especially because we got there in the very early evening. We have experienced this a couple time during our vacation and we are well aware that this is because it is hard to find staff....not only in Escalante Anyway, we would choose this motel again Recommended :-)

The bed had a topper that was too thick which made the bed too soft and the tucked sheet wouldn't stay in place. Caused the mattress pad and fitted sheet to crumple under you and eventually waking us up.

Location great. Stopover between Capitol Reef National Park and Bryce Canyon. Visited the Devil's Garden and it's worth the detour.

This motel was a fine, 2* motel, on the nicer side of this category. The mattress was very good, as were the pillows. The room was quite clean. There were 2 chairs, a small fridge and microwave and easy, contact-free checkin and ample shampoo and shower gel and tissues. The owner (Nate?) was very nice and always available by phone. Walkable to a pub, market and restaurants.

We just loved this cozy and quaint little motel, reminiscent of those from the 1950’s. Each room has their own porch chairs and outdoor picnic table. Our room included all the modern conveniences (refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave, TV, hairdryer), and the bed was extremely comfortable. We also loved the rustic decor and quiet location.

No deadbolt on the door or peephole. Not a big deal just something I prefer to have.
