Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaWe did not appreciate the front desk service. There were three ladies in front, and one of them went over stay details and told us check out was at 10 a.m. and when I tried to explain my check out agreement was 11 a.m. she was quick to argue that we were incorrect. After explaining, we had a private rental, and our agreement was not with Tiki condos. She unwillingly apologized and finished explaining the property rules. I understand there are rules and regulations and its policy to go over these details with the clients, but I do not like the over enforcement as if we already did something wrong. I felt very uneasy about asking any further questions or requests. We did not appreciate the property management sending us a message asking us to throw out our trash the morning of checking out (which is 11 a.m. and if you know that time is not much). When we paid a $200 cleaning service, I just didn't understand or agree, but we did it. We also weren't told where to throw out the trash and couldn't get anyone to answer the phone. These details should've been explained before signing an agreement and driving all the way to the island. Having to leave our stay in this manner distressed us. The a/c in the condo was a little confusing. It would not turn off, and it was set to 66 degrees. We were freezing. Our only option was to turn on the heat,in which we did, and that was set at 74 degrees. We left a $200 deposit and are still waiting for our refund since we know we did not damage any property.
The condo was very enjoyable. It was clean, small kitchen stocked with basic cooking necessities. The living and dining area was very spacious and the TV was huge we loved it. The balcony over looking at the pool was very relaxing. The pillows were moderately comfy. The beds(full sized) felt a little small since we're used to the king bed. We stayed two nights and were given 1 complimentary breakfast voucher at La Copa to redeem during our stay, which we did. (Breakfast was great) The heated pool went up to 9 feet deep! We were steps away from the beach and Clayton's beach bar.

United States of AmericaHaving to initiate check in at La Copa wasn't horrible, the desk attendant was polite and hospitable. I was disappointed to find that the breakfast was at La Copa and not at the Tiki, what a pain, we didn't attend. That should have been clarified on the Booking.com page. Disappointed to find we were on the 3rd floor with no elevator. Would have been worth it if we had a view, but there was only other condos. In general there was a major lack of info on the booking page. Bar Louie next door was an all day party and played loud music all day, the condo was pretty soundproof, but it meant we couldn't enjoy reading a book on the patio outside. It woke me up Friday night. The first night we were there, the light and ceiling fan wouldn't come on in the bedroom. I called and left a message with La Copa, it was fixed the next day, but no notice was shared or note left that they were coming or had been there, that left my husband feeling irritated and uncomfortable. A few more items in the kitchen would have been nice. We needed a spatula for the burgers we grilled downstairs and there was no salt or pepper. I grew up in the Valley and love coming down to visit and staying at SPI, we have stayed in many places over the years. This one just seemed to fall flat and miss the mark.
The receptionists at the TIKI were very welcoming, smiley, friendly and professional. The condo was very clean. The AC worked really well. The distance to the beach was superb!
