Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe only thing that took away from the stay was the parking. The parking deck they suggested was a block away due to construction and it was very run down. Dirty, NO WORKING ELEVATOR and you could only park on level 3. so, we had to use the stairs (that smelt absolutely disgusting).
located in the heart of Indianapolis surrounded by restaurants and shopping centers. Right across the street from the convention center and the stadium. This hotel did not disappoint with not only very unique architecture and decor. The rooms were updated and clean. They even had the option of booking a real train converted into a hotel room. It is a beautiful place to stay glad we found it. I also felt safe as the police headquarters was right around the block.

United States of AmericaFuneka was the absolute best at the front desk from the moment she received us when we checked in. Later during our stay, we had an issue where black sewage backed up into the bathtub in our room and filled the entire room with stench. After the technician came out to assess the problem, the putrid smell and black residue remained in the room and tub, respectively. The smell even permeated the hall outside our room. When we informed other attendants who were at the front desk, we were told that they could provide a spray to mask the odor and that we could simply run the water from the tub faucet to get rid of the material ourselves. When Funeka arrived, however, she quickly arranged for a room change. She was a delight and offered exceptional concierge service.

United States of AmericaPerhaps because of the age, the acoustics were not great. You could hear a good amount of noise from the hallways, next door neighbors, and atrium. I ended up downloading a brown noise app (which helped to drown it out). Also, the restaurant is open for limited hours. When attending an event with competition times set, sometimes meals come at odd hours, including during the gap between breakfast and dinner at the hotel. There is a mini market where you can buy limited snacks, food, and drinks, and that helps, but I would have liked a full-service option.
Location was superb for event at the Convention Center. Given sub-zero temps during our visit, it was a wonderful surprise to learn about the enclosed walkway connecting the hotel to the Convention Center so that we didn't even have to walk outside the short distance (and the walkway was accessible from the second floor, which is where our room was located). The fact that it was a former train station is very cool, too. We loved that you could actually book a converted train car as a room option (although we did not). The room was comfortable and a good size. The people working at the front desk, bar/restaurant, and house cleaning were all very nice.

United States of AmericaUnfortunately there was no place to park and the valet was ALWAYS full. I was there for a week. Had to pay almost $60 a day to park in the nearest parking garage. it should not be advertised that there is valet, when there is not and the nearest parking garage is a difficult 10 min walk from the hotel. This should be mentioned in the booking advertisement.
The staff were super friendly, clean rooms, great location!

United States of AmericaThe AC!!! when we were in bed, everytime the AC kicked on, it blew right in our faces. we had to put a pillow over our face to keep it from hitting us. It woke us up EVERYTIME it turned on. there was no way to move the direction of the air so we turned it off and so we were HOT all night! Also, there was no fan in the restroom and it became really hot in there when showering
it was a beautiful hotel. First time there.

United States of AmericaTheir system for checking you in and out of a room is very old. And someone else’s member number was placed on my room so my bill had someone else’s name someone else’s credit card information. It was a big mess and then I was double charged for my room and they could never figure out the rate and it was horrible. From that standpoint. They just need a better, a newer, a more updated system for checking in guest note that Was major. We were there for a conference so the hotel staff did not prepare themselves for the large group. They had an area that they use in the morning for their breakfast so instead of opening that area up in the evening so that the guest staying at the hotel could at least go in and sit down and wait to be served they had a hostess Working upfront who was as rude as she could be and she was just straight up nasty and that was a big turn off because she was sending people away. She was just horrible. Cost a little area that they did have to eat in in the evening wasn’t that large so after say about 30 of us Enter that little area there was no room for anyone else. It was horrible, but they were not prepared. And on top of that they must’ve just hired waiters that day that we were there and we were there for a total of eight days because they never do what was on the menu so that was off horrible experience
I have the opportunity to stay at this location for my sororities national convention. It was the perfect location to be close to the convention center. The facility was unique because they were rooms where old train cars had been converted and that was very unique to see. My accommodations were fantastic as far as room availability at all.
