Had to walk very far to get to an ice machine (I was on the first floor). Parking was limited.

It took over an hour to get sheets for our pull out couch. We requested double beds but got a king and pull out. The pull out was like laying on springs. We had to ask for extra towels. Hallways were filthy.

I made a reservation with breakfast included but when I arrived, they said breakfast was not included. Breakfast was available only in the restaurant and was expensive so we chose to eat elsewhere.

Booking said I could push my reservations Oct 6-11 ahead to Oct 8-12 due to family emergencies, which caused me to miss my first 2 nights. The hotel said Booking had to change it. I called and wrote each night. Letters bounced around. I just want the $340 I lost applied to my next trip !!! If a family member having a heart attack and a tree falling on your house before you leave on your trip are not good reasons, what are ??? Loud renovations and a slow drain !

The other patrons were loud and quite frankly, dirty. The smell of marijuana was prevalent in many areas. Arguing was heard also during our stay.

Amenities include pool, but it was closed. The room was a wonderful size, but there were a couple of pieces of furniture with serious wear and tear. I called the hotel ahead of time to ask about the pool and see if the coffee maker was k-cup compatible and they said no, but turns out it was and I didn't bring my favs because I was told it wasn't. . I asked if the pool opened, and they said yes. Didn't know until I got the confirmation email a day or two before that the breakfast package only included two passes per day. Booking needs to make sure those things are included in the listing. My room was located where the construction was in full swing, and I was awakened each morning they worked from the noise. The worst part was waiting over 6 hours for them to bring bed linens for the sofa bed. When they told me upon my check-in, they would be up shortly. I had to call and/or go to the front desk 4 more times. When they did finally come, they knocked two times and left. I look out the peep hole, and no one's there. I finally just open the door, and there sits a trasbag of linens around 2am. The children and I were exhausted from waiting on linens, and construction woke us bright and early the next morning. The manager attempted to make things ok by offering 3 additional breakfast vouchers for one day for the inconvenience. A night refund would have been more acceptable. And while her words were nice enough, her tone and body language were not matching. I will definitely be back to visit Louisville, but I am not sure if I will be returning to this hotel.

Loved the location! The size of the room and layout was great! The hotel itself is nice. The breakfast crew was great!
