Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Bathroom floor was dirty with hairs and blue splashes, wall next to the bed has brown splashes like coffee or something, face tissue box was empty , room it's good just need a little more attention on the cleaning , but after all was good

All the homeless people that hang around the building. Also not very pleased with the fact I did not get my deposit back. Room was left in exactly the same condition as when I got in it. Only $50 dollars but still, kinda feel like it’s a charge they keep and never give back
Great location to pretty much everything. Good breakfast overall decent place to stay

The surrounding area isn't the greatest. Granted, they can't help that. There is a liquor store on the corner and the homeless were lined up on the sidewalk yelling at each other. I told my nieces NOT to go walking outside. However, it is downtown near many restaurants and such.
The room was quite spacious. It had a nice little sitting area and a sort of kitchenette bar. The bed was quite comfortable. We had adjoining rooms with my nieces, which was nice. They enjoyed the pool. It was great that the pool was open until midnight.

Beds weren’t that comfortable, there was some street noise being right off the main road onto freeway
Close to everything downtown. Nice views when you get an East facing window on 4th floor

The fan in the bathroom was too loud. The light above the sink only after pushing the switch, the fitted sheet was coming off the bed. The bathtub was wet when we checked in…we didn’t know if that was because they just cleaned it or never cleaned it.

The hotel is not too close to the downtown even though it seems like it is only a couple of blocks away, but that's more so because of the SLC's layout than anything else. But that's still something to keep in mind.
The staff are amazing and very helpful. The transfer from the Amtrak train station was very smooth and efficient even though we arrived in the middle of the night. The rooms are huge and pretty nice. The hotel isn't new, but it has everything you need. The spa and the gym are pretty good for this price category.

The hotel was a bit dated, but they made up for it with exceptional facilities and service.
The room was very comfortable and so was the bed. They had a recliner in addition to the desk chair. The breakfast was fantastic and different each day. It was an old fashion delicious breakfast made in their kitchen as they are also a convention center. The pool and spa were immaculate and wonderful - so was the dry sauna. The front staff were very helpful with restaurant suggestions and we walked to them each night as this hotel was centrally located.

Most staff were kind and gracious, but 1 front desk staff was extremely rude. The iron board cover should be washed. Overall, (minus the 1 staff) it was a great experience.
I was stoked there was a breakfast! It's great that there is a shuttle that can pick you up from the airport. It is not too far from cute cafes and restaurants. The rooms are spacious and the bed was very comfortable.

Very noisy room. We can hear people walking upstarts, or in the corridors, or people talking in neighboring rooms. Even the air exhaust in the bathroom is very noisy. We had to close the door to be able to sleep.
Big room, nice and comfortable bed. Good to have breakfast included, and parking lot spaces. Having an iron and the board is also a good plus.
