The neighborhood is a little iffy and the exterior needs some work. The shower had little water pressure and skimpy towels. Pretty pricey for the location and accommodations. Supply and demand i guess.

A little concerned when we saw the exterior and the neighborhood, but the room was very clean and obviously had been remodeled recently. It was only 2 blocks to Art's corner cafe where we had a great breakfast.

Lacking in a receptical for the left side bed lamp. Shower had a water saver restricter, very hard to get enough water to wash your hair. Terrible! Vary expensive for what we got!

The facility is quite old and the street is quite noisy.The attention is correct but not excellent.

It was clean and reasonably good state. It is what you could expect from a one-night motel, but not to stay longer.

The only complaint, which is huge in my opinion, is I was on the street side and it was very loud. I wasn't able to sleep at all. So if you're a light sleeper, be sure to get a room in the back, otherwise, the street traffic and people walking by is quite loud. The street on which the motel is located is a busy street all day and night. Again, if you're a light sleeper and can get a room in the back, please do so.

The staff was amazing and very accommodating. The room was very clean and smelled good. The a/c worked very well, the force of the shower was perfect. The bed was huge and very soft, which is a good thing for those who like soft beds. The motel is a very short driving distance from the beach. FREE parking, cable and WIFI.

The parking is limited so if you have a lot to carry, get there early, but there is still street parking and the neighbor seemed safe..

The room was nicely decorated and comfortable, it was a bit snug but understandable so the beds could be big and comfy. It was very clean and the bathroom was spacious and appeared to be newly remodeled. The person that checked us in was nice and helped direct us to area restaurants. Great place for breakfast just a block away.

There was no breakfast but there was a refrigerator and a Keurig for coffee.

The Crystal Lodge Motel was an older property but remodeled. The owner made check-in so easy and he offered suggestions for things to do and places to eat. He was so friendly and that’s a huge plus in the hospitality business. We had a room on the back side away from the street and it was so quiet. The remodeled room was remarkable. The location was in close proximity to almost everything in town including being just a few blocks away from the beach.

The motel faces a very busy street that quiets down in the evenings, of course, but if you’re sensitive to noise bring ear plugs or request a room that faces the back. I was able to sleep just fine.

The room had a cleaning solution smell. Nice to know it was cleaned, but it was rather pungent.

The bed was super comfortable - my husband actually checked the tag for a potential future purchase 😆 Management upgraded us to a room with a kitchen for free! I guess based on availability for the evening. We chose this hotel because it was close to the event location we were in town for and it was exactly what we needed (clean, budget hotel)
