    It looked a bit tatty.

The location was great, right on the river. We spent some lovely time watching the boats and the birds. The on site restaurant was good and the bar staff were lovely.

The rooms need updating, but this is an old Florida hotel so you expect that vibe

Gorgeous view of King's Bay and you can view manatees directly from your balcony. Each room also has the perfect sunset view each evening . We also enjoyed the Tiki Hut. The AC worked great!!

The property is very old and needs urgent renovation! It should be said, that renovations are being done. The Continental Breakfast that is offered is "sugar pure". No toast or bagels only sweet cookies. We got a room above the restaurant although we asked for a quite room. Unfortunately the A/C was very loud as well.

The location is excellent and the attached Restaurant with Tiki-Bar superb. Great Sunsets, possibilities to watch Manatees and other wildlife. Close to the "Three Sister Springs" and the "Homosassa Wildlife Park" .

Lovely but the building, rooms and facilities are in need of some DIY

Its run down and in need of a lick of paint and some DIY maintenance - Nothing serious though and the place was clean. Also the TV was hard to work.

Hotel is nice but old and in need of some DIY and some new sheets for the bed. Despite that, there were towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap, plus breakfast available the next morning. The biggest selling point is that every room has a balcony or porch so you can enjoy some sundowners while soaking up the wildlife in the bay. I loved staying here and the staff were so lovely.

The history, the story that Elvis made a movie there back in the late 50’s! Not sure if that’s true. Location was perfect! Loved the restaurant!!

We know the hotel is old but the carpets need replacing or cleaning. The bathroom sink handle leaked badly. One of the beds wasn’t on the frame which made sitting on it precarious.

The view was amazing! The location central to all we wanted to do. We enjoyed the adjoining restaurant and bar. The shower had great hot water and water pressure.

The TV in the room was inoperable, but in their defense, I did not report it as I was not there to watch TV. The place was a bit dated and could use some general updating, but it does have a quaint historical feel that adds to its ambiance.

Specifically, I chose this hotel for its location and opportunity to watch for sea creatures and sunset views, and it certainly did not disappoint. The area felt safe enough to leisurely walk the area, even at night. And, right next door is located the Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge.

The hotel is extremely dated, it really needs a facelift. Our original room had a clogged tub so we moved to a different room, although it was probably a more expensive room since it had a separate seating area we preferred the first room which was on the 2nd floor, so it didn't feel like people were right outside our patio, and it had 2 quee n beds which we liked more than a king.

The view from the room is amazing, we had 2 manatee swimming maybe 20 yards from our patio

The room was big and comfortable, but in need of some repairs

We could launch our paddleboard 20ft from our door and it was only a 10 min paddle to the manatees in 3 sister spring. Amazing🥰
