Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaHad the worst check-in experience. Staff person was rude, abrupt and unhelpful. Breakfast was very expensive for very average food.
The hotel room was wonderful - very large, comfy bed, large sitting room area… pool was great.

United States of AmericaMisleading advertisement: booked in the Ruby tower because it said the room included a coffee/tea maker—VERY important to me—but the room didn’t have one. When I called the front desk, I was told none of those rooms had them, unless I paid more for an upgrade (thought I already did?) and that I would have to go downstairs to purchase coffee instead. Also says microwave, fireplace and other amenities which was not accurate. Check-in took way too long, not enough staff. Walk to strip was further than expected but not a dealbreaker.
Beautiful, spacious and clean rooms. Loved the oversized bathroom, living area and vanity. Strip view was meh but the big windows were great. Also the pool was amazing!

United KingdomNot all pools were open until the third day, but when they were it was great. It would’ve been good to have the kitchen that was advertised as part of my room. And I was charged multiple times at the Casa Calavera restaurant which has been an issue to resolve…
The hotel is a little out of the way, which was nice to be away from the hustle, and a lot calmer. The rooms are huge and spacious, very well designed and had almost everything except the kitchenette which was advertised when I booked.

United KingdomCleanliness was just ok, think design of some areas makes housekeeping difficult. For example, shower/toilet room looks clean with door open but once you close is dirt on the floor and marks on back of door. Cleaners will only see if the close the door which they maybe don’t do as quite a small room/area. Also, casino area a bit dark and uninviting. Stayed at The Wynn on other nights in Vegas and the casino area there was much classier.
Room very large and looked nice.

CanadaThe juice fridge is only designed for selling their product, we cannot put our own drink unless we are willing pay the $40 to take out their drinks in the fridge. The hotel should clarify that fridge service with fee in the advertisement. There is no free coffee/tea available in the room, only 2 small bottles of water provided daily. Hence, we found the resort fee is not worth for the value.
The overall room design is nice and the room storage organizer consideration is done very well. The bed is very comfortable. As well, it is nice to have parking for free service. In general, we had very nice service staff support when needed.

United States of AmericaWhat I didn't like was the casino areas of the hotel. It seemed that In the midst of this desert oasis there was a black hole where you were transported to back to the Stardust Casino before its demolition. It felt sad, dingy and out of step with the image the Virgin Hotel was trying to project.
I liked the mid-century desert vibe of the place and all of the upgrades in decor in the restaurants and pool areas. Kassi Beach pool was not opened yet but looked good. Food at the restaurants was also very good and there were plenty pf places to get sundries and coffee. The Spa was also very nice and the massage excellent.

United States of AmericaThe smoke smell in the lobby area and the hotel charged me for the water I didn't drink/touch
It is one of the best hotels in Vegas. It is very clean and has no smoke smell in your room. The room and hotel design is fantastic, not just like a common US hotel. There are so many facilities in the hotel! The location is very very close to the airport, walkable to the strip (~20 mins) but not in the strip.
