    Could hear some highway noise.

I liked that there was a little carport in front of each room, I could back my car up right to the door.

    Nothing

Very good value for the money. It was very clean, comfortable bedding, and a big room. The interior was authentic from the 60-70, and in good shape and very cool.

Property could upgrade the TV's by replacing current models with larger smart systems. Could upgrade the quality and size of their bath towels. Did not understand the additional cost to stay in a room with and updated bath.

This the a classic old style motor lodge with a long and unique history. Always enjoy revisiting this property. Stayed in a room with an updated bath which was nice.

Confusion on checking in although this was not a reflection of the hotel

Large rooms and warm although it has been upgraded it will date quickly otherwise it is ok for a one nights stay.

For some reason the warm water didn't work in the bathroom sink, but we didn't complain because we weren't really worried about it.

Large room, clean and warm and comfortable beds. Covered parking was nice, especially since the weather was so terrible.

We couldn’t close the bathroom window. It was a little chilly. But the shower was nice and hot and the heating in the room itself worked perfectly too.

I love the fact that the entire motel was built out of one single curly redwood tree. Very impressive!! Beautiful wood. I really liked the decor too, very comfortable. Price value was outstanding!

Convenient, comfortable, affordable and unique stay for traveling near redwoods.

All was good. Another throwback to 60s - Fisherman's Restaurant across highway convenient to walk to and food is good with large portions, but very pricey.

Such a unique place at an amazing price. If you come to see coastal redwoods, this is a bargain and fun place to stay overnight. ENTIRE motel made from burl of a single redwood tree that was struck by lightening and had to be logged. Whole place is a throwback to 1960s roadside motel, both decor inside and outside look. Surprisingly quiet considering my room was close to HWY 101 running right in front. HQ for state and federal Redwoods parks a short drive into downtown and great place to get info on northernmost redwoods.
