To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaThe room while clean, the room was not in the best repair. no do not disturb sign. a coffee machine, but no coffee or pot. no ice bucket and no machine that I could see. worse I was given a room on the second floor and if I had been traveling with my wife with disabilities, she would have had a hard time getting to the room. The room was supposed to be non-smoking but as soon as I opened the room it reeked of smoke until I ran the AC for a while. I went out for a short period of time and came back to the outside of the building and there was a strong marijuana smell. I believe there were signs up saying no smoking but the other customers ignored. The room I had was overlooking the pool and there were people out by the pool late into the evening smoking. While there was "breakfast" I showed up at 7:45 and there was virtually nothing but toast and cereal
While the room was clean, the room was pretty run down and needed work. The only reason I picked the hotel was due to location.

United States of AmericaThe breakfast could have had a few more easy options. The bathroom fan had no.cover and was really dusty. I liked the floors but wish the rooms had a little broom. Kids are messy so.i went and bought a little broom and dust pan.
Liked the easy access to things. The main office staff were very friendly. It was very clean.
