Site looked a little dated. Lots of people smoking and hanging around so I wouldn't say this place is family friendly

Very clean room. Good pressure in shower. Bed was comfortable. Steps away from the beach. Breakfast was yummy

Old have used one more comfy chair in the room and we don’t have any outdoor chairs on our floor to take in the ocean views.

Great value for the $$. Bed mattress was excellent and had a great nights sleep. The room could use one more chair if possible though

Just a little smaller than I expected but cozy

Ocean Front, friendly and helpful staff, clean room! They refunded a night after I had an accident requiring an emergency surgery and hospital stay. They even called the hospital to check on me!!

The photos made me assume I would have a private balcony but it was in fact a window with the ocean view. Slightly outdated appearance.

probably the kitchen in the room was not the most clean, but it was ok.

the reception was good, the breakfast is the typical American breakfast, really good, they offer a good balance of food, the view and access to the beach just great! and nice beds, comfortable! location is great for all the OBX.

The room descriptions and details in the listing can be improved to differentiate what exactly means the oceanfront and ocean view or,,can add more pictures of individual rooms to make it clear how each room looks

We like the room ,facilities and staff.The room is very comfortable and clean .The room size is more than enough for a single family .It includes two rooms ,one is bed room with 2 queen beds and the otherone is like a small living room with sofa set, micro oven,refrigerator and dining table .

It definitely needs some updating and the hot water is scalding hot. I would be scared for my kids to use the water if they were with us.

Excellent location, just steps to the beach and close to Jockeys Ridge, Wright Brothers museum, and many shops and putt putt. The staff was amazing as well, very kind and had many recommendations for us to do!

The only problem was due to our neighboring vacationers who didn’t want to obey the non-smoking rules. The staff was extremely helpful.

Love the beachfront location. I’m thankful for laundry facilities on the property. The included breakfast was fantastic.

The beds are new but stiff, and the breakfast was average hotel breakfast which is ok to save some money. The room was big which is a plus but the TV was small for the bigger rooms.

We stayed in the double suite, it was very roomy, it's been updated. It has a small bar with a mini fridge and microwave and single coffee pot. Lots of space. It was a double room so it also had a love seat in the living area. Was clean and right on the beach. They have grills and picnic tables outside so we cooked out for our Easter dinner which was very nice.They are pet friendly also. I enjoyed staying there and would stay again.

The bathroom was way too little. Back in and back out.We had no tv the first night and the office closed at 6, so we had nobody to call to fix it.

TV in the living room did not work. Both morning exactly the same breakfast. A little variation would have been nice. THE PLACE IS OLD, but the location makes up for it.

corridor leading to room and the stairs, they all need a coat of paint. requested non-smoking room but the room smelled of smoke, had to spray perfume to rid the room of the smell.

I did not dislike anything here. I got more than what I paid for, just don't expect a luxury 5 star resort.

Stayed here for a couple days during offseason. Great location right on the ocean, solid free breakfast, staff was very helpful, and rooms were clean and much bigger than expected. Great value, I'd stay here again.
