Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Getting charged $ 8.00 to park for a over night stay. There was no notice about charging to park. Will never stay there again. Will pass on to others not to stay there. Also loud truck idling outside our window. Was ready to go to front desk and it finally shut off.

Extra fees for parking, a potential extra fee for an airport shuttle that did not even have sufficient capacity for the number of travelers wanting to get to the airport. Fairly pricey considering it is still quite a distance to the airport and does not have nicer rooms. Also, although there is public transit (a special airport train), in the general area, the hotel isn't close enough to make walking to that station a reasonable option.
Although not super close to the airport, it was a reasonable driving distance. Unfortunately, as with many American cities, there is no affordable lodging available adjacent to the airport itself.

The snacks were only for breakfast. Maybe have some fruit out for guests. They charge for parking! And for the shuttle! That's ridiculous!

The free breakfast was wanting. The weather stripping around the window in our room was frayed and the room got quite chilly at night. I reported this to the front desk clerk upon checking out.
The room was very clean and generally comfortable, as was the lobby and adjacent eating area.

We appreciated being able to leave our car there while gone for a week. However, I did not expect or appreciate needing to pay for airport shuttle and parking during our stay at Days Inn. I hate hidden add-on fees!

I stayed at 7 different hotels during this road trip. This was the only location that charged me to park my car overnight in the hotel parking lot. I understand it is close to the airport and some hotels charge non-paying customers to park their cars in their lots overnight. But to charge a paying customer who is staying in your hotel for the night to park their car? Kinda ridiculous!
The room was great. The fresh clean smell of the hotel was amazing. I didn't get a chance to ask the staff what they use, but it was really nice!

In room 102.the sink drain is rusty and has a sewer smell.

Not much.
Conveniently located a couple of miles from the airport with a hotel shuttle bus to get you there. Be careful which side of the arrivals terminal you go to...as its a mirror image of itself and the bus leaves from only one side of it. The room was clean and large. There's a Seven Eleven and a gas station located next door with a restaurant a short walk, although across a busy road. There's not much else in the vicinity. Denver downtown is about 15 miles and $ 30 in an Uber, although you can take the shuttle back to the airport and then the train (for $ 10) into town. Note the hotel shuttle is $ 8, but once paid its unlimited rides whilst staying there.

Bathroom toiled is very low and shallow. Bit of an issue. Pillows are thick but not very long. Bit expensive cost for pet stays. Need a dog grass area nearer to entry with lighting. The one around back is not well promoted, dark at night, and users are very exposed to elements when used.

Front desk person not the nicest. She didn’t activate my room key properly so had to lug my bags back downstairs to have it corrected. She just rolled her eyes at me like I was an idiot when it was her fault.
