Very old, no tv for about 6 hours, hard to understand clerk & not much selection for breakfast!

The hotel was very run down. It looks like they are trying to make improvements. The exterior was dirty. The exterior doors didn't lock in the evening so anyone could walk in from the street. I would prefer better security.

The room was nice and clean, the beds were very comfortable.

A nice as the staff is, they are not very knowledgeable. Friday evening, there we're 4 tornadoes in the des moines area. One of them was lined up to hit the building. They didn't know what to do about safety.

I booked a room with two queen beds. I ended up with one queen sized bed and a full size bed on a queen frame. There seemed to be paint chips or something on the carpeting throughout the third floor hallway. The highway nearby could clearly be heard in the room even though the windows were closed.

Location and price was good. Breakfast was decent. Staff that I interacted with were very friendly.

I had left my pillow and they wrote on the pillow case, other than that for the price I had no complaints.

The elevator didn't work and it seemed dingy. Almost like they didn't care

It was ok for a place to sleep. However, I will choose another place the next time. Yes my room was a renovated one, however before you start allowing guest to stay there you might want to have it fully renovated and not take 3 years to do it and stop allowing randoms to stay there. You are in Clive, Iowa which is a pretty classy town. Be mindful of who you have staying in your establishment.

One staff member was extremely rude, his reply to a question was surly and seemed more like he did not want to be bothered to see if he could provide change for one of their vending machines, another issue was we had decided to extend one additional day and I had confirmation, but they could not find it, and required me to return to Hotel in the middle of business to attend to the problem. P.S. I would not rate the Hotel above a 2.5

The location was central to all of the appointments that we were there to attend to.

I like that you have a space of breakfast but just for you to improve the system of having breakfast.

The room and bed was okay. The break fast was not better but need improvement. You need ☕ tea bags , not everyone drink coffee and other stuff.

There was not much of a continental breakfast (very small rolls and coffee. -- no milk). I don't know if this was because they were in the middle of remodeling, or if that's the usual fare. If it was due to remodeling, it would have been nice to be notified in advance when I booked it.

They were remodeling. No breakfast. The electricity wert off in the morning and didn't come back on. We couldn't call the front desk because the phones were down. We couldn't shower because the bathroom was pitch black..My daughter negotiated that they comp the room, however, since we booked through you and I am unable to reach a human being through booking, I may be sol. it was under construction so no continental breakfast but also no coffee makers in room, no coffee carafes in lobby, no coupon for even a free coffee at McDonald’s which was one block away. poor management as nothing was said when we booked. they should have mentioned it.

Hhhmm, where do I start? The place is under construction, lobby was torn up, room looks like it was under renovation and put back together so there were enough rooms to accommodate guests. We slept on a metal frame that holds the bed up, our sink had construction dirt and debris, the bathroom tile work was incomplete, the old carpet was glued up the wall, curtains had stains and burn marks, one room was missing the fire sprinkler head, laundry room/ice/pop machines were located behind a boarded up door, washing machines stacked outside. Oh, best part 15-20 people partying outside a room as you drive up! I mean the list keeps going, definitely bad job on property and booking.com for not making it known that they were in process of construction and renovation and that the facility may not be up to par but they are working on it. This should have been expressed when they reached out after the booking.

If this is about the property, nothing. If this is about location, it is near a multitude of different places for food and entertainment.
