We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

As soon as we walked in, we should have left, but being an Easter break, having already booked the place weeks ago, and no where else was open for vacancy, we made the best of it. Just a couple things mentioned and won't get into the other reasons.

The room was mostly clean but the hotel itself was filthy. It also needed a major update.

United States of AmericaI didn't like that the bed was so hard. I didn't like that their was no disability chair in the shower. I hated that it took a minute for the picture to come up on the TV. I hated that the maid only came in to make up the bed and took out the trash. She didn't vacuum because I left a piece of paper on the floor that was still there when I returned. I also had to kill a roach in the bathroom and it remained on the bathroom sink when I returned. I also hated that the gentleman at the front desk was new and he came to the room with a paper he needed me to sign that he didn't do at the front desk. I hated that there were people standing outside of the main entryway smoking cigarettes. That didn't help my asthma at all. I also hated that some of the outlets in the room didn't work or at least work with my cords. I had to plug my computer into an outlet and then plug my phone into the computer to charge the phone.
I liked how close the hotel was to the highway and to the mall and other stores. The room was initially clean upon arrival. I liked how the vending machines had a good selection of snacks.

CanadaThe heater in our room was not working, in spite of the cold weather outside. As we arrived late and tired, we decided to inform the personnel only in the morning. The clerk at the front desk logged the malfunctioning of the heater.

United States of AmericaHalf the light bulbs were burned out. I had to get out my flashlight to read. The bathroom fan did not work and the room got steamy when we showered. The wi-fi did not work. The refrigerator whined all night. Hallway carpets were FILTHY.
The location was convenient from the highway we were traveling. The desk staff was pleasant and accommodated us with a room near an outside door. Breakfast area was clean.
