Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaMy stay was uneventful, the Inn was perfect for my purposes, essentially a dormitory for me at night after spending the days with friends. One night the room was chilly and I would have appreciated an extra blanket. I did see a lone cockroach climbing on the television.
I was visiting a friend locally and needed a place for a couple of nights. I selected the Schenectady Inn (Days' Inn) over other options because it was very affordable and also has more reviews. It is centrally located and I was able to walk there from the Amtrak station. There seemed to be very few guests staying and I understand the Inn is under new management (according to the sign outside). The establishment is a bit shabby and shop-worn but very clean, I thought. The furnishings in my room were adequate and a bit dated, but provided everything I needed. My bed was comfortable and the hotel was very quiet, in spite of the central location. The price was very affordable!

United States of America1. My room could have been cleaned thoroughly after each use. All sorts of stains have been left to dry. Small repairs could have been done in a timely manner Now, the while room needs a face lift. 2. Sound proof is lacking. 3. The hallways smells cigarette smoke. 4. Workers were disputing at the lobby. 5. Check-in is slow.
Fresh towels and bed sheets. Convenient location.

United States of AmericaNo elevator; no laundry facilities; room had musty smell. Checked A/C unit and dust was built up inside. Paint chips and marks on walls from chairs rubbing paint; door handle bathroom loose. Toilet tissue holder had hole in wall and loose. Overflow spot in sink looks rusted out. Sink faucet loose for turning on/off - it moved. Parking lot rather dark, Grout in bathroom poorly done or missing. Towel rack at sink bent. Windows have moisture leaks; sign not lit. Advertised as Schenectady Inn, but really it is a run down, not well maintained Days Inn. Required a $100 cash deposit (in fine print, which I missed when reading it all). This requirement should be more prominent on website! Tells me now the quality or lack there of the hotel.
Not one thing!

United States of AmericaWe checked in after a long drive hoping to take a nap before meeting our friends. Unfortunately we couldn't because there was a lady with 3 kids, the kids were running around the hallway it was impossible to close you eyes, after me and my 6 months pregnant wife came back from meeting our friends, around 10pm we were so tired hoping to get some sleep, the kids were still awake, running on the hallway and their mom screaming like crazy, finally around 12nith they all fell asleep. Unfortunately for us was hard too.
The front check in gentleman was very polite and kind, even gave us 2 bottles of water for free, very kind i like that.
