Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The bathroom could have been cleaned better. Lift up the toilet seat to properly clean under it and have clean towels instead of stained towels.

Staff was rude and treated me disrespectfully. The beds had wet sheets on them so they moved us to another room and acted like they didnt understand why i was complaining about it and was supposed to have coffee makers in the rooms and didnt. Also charged me a deposit and said nothing about it anywhere during the reservation process. Room was clean. No bath mats or grippers in the tub and was slick. If they had better staff id stay there again

Non smoking hotel, but you can smell weed in downstairs hallway at the far west part of building. Waffle maker out of order, as usual, muffins the size of a babys fist, why can't we get what we pay for? The breakfast lie is a way to attract customers..gimmick Oh yea the bedsheets, pillow covers and blankets stained😡

The rooms were dirty, hair in the shower, spots on the floor, caulk in the tub to hide cracks, parts of the wall pealing off, one of the beds had a blood stain on the bed spread. The breakfast was a sad excuse.
It was a good price. The pool area was decent however not warm.

Hair was in the shower from the recent guest. Housekeeping was very unprofessional had a bad attitude because my husband and I asked for new wash cloths due to hair being on the wash cloths they gave us. An older lady was crying and needed help looking for a cart to place her clothes on and the housekeeper was very mean to her because the older lady didn’t comprehend what the housekeeper was saying to her. Housekeeper consistently slammed the room doors as she cleaned rooms. My husband had to open our door to let her know that we were trying to sleep.

The room was supposed to be a nonsmoking room but it smelled of smoke. The condition of the walls (esp. in the bathroom) needed repairs. There was a large stain on the bedsheet.
Check in was fairly quick. It was fairly quiet.

Dark room, no coffeemaker, loud heater. Breakfast a joke - very little food, coffee not refilled. The room was not ready when it was supposed to be at 3.

The beds were like a brick. I've never slept on a hard bed like that in a hotel. It was horrible. The t.v was old and and didn't get many channels. When going to check out there was an opened condom wrapper on the floor in the hall.

Having the pool fixed
Every time we went out of room it smelled of like air freshener to cover up some one’s pot smoking. People with inhalation allergy this kinda sucks for them. But over all clean and nice people.

I didn't like the fact that the Linens scenes old dingy they have things all on them the hallways smell like dog feces people running in and out the side door doors constantly slamming then I was next to I guess a family that actually lives in the hotel so the baby was crying all night the end of the hallway smelled pissy the refrigerator that was in the room produce out so much heat that I had to open up the window the ice machine is look nasty for $80 a night at this hotel I could have stayed at the extended stay this hotel is going downhill the table which I was staying in room 203 is breaking down because I end up wasting my whole drink cuz one of the legs on the table is very very loose my floor hasn't even been vacuumed because as soon as I walked in I seen little white chips of paper

The beds were uncomfortable. The heat was messed up in the pool entry way.
Indoor heated pool. But was locked each time we tried to swim so we had to call the front desk to have someone come unlock it.

The continental breakfast was a bit meager with less offerings than what I thought would be there.

The room only had an extremely small bar of soap and a even smaller shampoo. The bathtub had a weird yellow stain in it. The room had a fridge that made a loud buzzing sounds when it was on. If you walked out side there was a soda can you can tell someone used to smoke some illegal substance out of at and near the back door as well as people smoking substance outside in the parking, people being extremely loud outside revving there cars outside late at night.
