The guy at the front didn't know anything every question I asked he did not have an answer he had to ask somebody the air condition in the first room did not work the swimming pool was closed but nobody told us was supposed to have a coffee maker in my room the guy at the front desk gave me a coffee maker but he didn't know where the coffee was to make coffee

Breakfast was not much. Water, coffee, breakfast bars. With our luck there were a few rooms around us with bunch of young guys that were very loud, banging on the walls and screaming in the hall way until 2 AM. Did not have any sleep that night. It seems like finally around 2 AM the front desk/security was able to bring them under control.

Room was pretty clean, bed was comfortable. Check in and check out was quick and easy.

Hotel room was clean and comfortable. It was a good value given the FAMU Homecoming game weekend.

The young girl at the front desk was not friendly at all (seemed to be bothered that I wanted to check in). I also didn't like that there was a $30 charge policy to check in earlier than the check in time. Other hotels I've stayed at accommodated with no additional fees.

They charge a $200 room deposit! There's no advance warning about this excessive fee, they hit you with it at check-in. No email or website warning. Also, something shady is going on, I just couldn't figure it out. They will not give you the managers name, nor tell you who owns the hotel. This is the third and final time we've stayed here, and I have never seen the manager,one has never been on site. No coffee maker or iron in the room, you have to ask at the front desk, which isn't always manned. I waited about 7 minutes for someone to show up at the desk to check me in. Then, the room wasn't ready, even though it was after 3pm. Was told it would be 45 minutes before the room was ready. Was also told if I canceled, I would be charged anyway. I asked how they could charge me if they didn't have a room to give me, they broke the contract not me. That's when the lone employee refused to give me the managers name. Finally, the "breakfast" was the worst I've ever seen. Prepackaged junk full of sugar, carbs and chemicals. No protein bar as advertised.

The bed linens needed to be bleached or replaced as there was a lot of staining. There was also a roach on the wall when we got to the room. The place is in desperate need of a remodel, it’s age is definitely showing.

The location and staff were both excellent. Despite its obvious age and wear, the room and bathroom had been well-cleaned. Though the selection was small, the breakfast area was well-stocked with what was available (muffins, granola bars, fruit, yogurt, microwave breakfast sandwiches).

The place needs a little love - a bit worn. Breakfast is gas station food-yogurt, sugary muffins, and water. Terrible. No soap in the bathroom? Really?

Bathroom towels were incredibly old. for 2 people 1 small shampoo. had to ask for 1 more. no coffee maker in the room. you have to walk downstairs to borrow . one.

Clean, furniture was not old, For nowadays breakfast was ok. muffins, tangerine, snack bars , bottle of water. Not even hot water for tee. Coffee is in thermos.

Room fridge was OFF, which in itself was OK, but was also NOT CLEAN. There was dirty utensils in there so we needed to clean it before we put anything else in it. Also, there was no soap of any kind in the room. Did not notice this part until following morning as we had been on the road 14 hours night before. Staff did not seem too concerned when I mentioned this at breakfast either.

Room size was very nice for the price. The location was close to highway, but far enough away that traffic noise was not an issue.

I made my booking through a third party source. When I arrived at the hotel they demanded payment even though payment was already processed. I ended up getting charged 3 times.

The reception area was nice. Staff was pleasant. Price was good and hotel was quiet.
