Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I did not like that the Maids bother you everyday for room cleaning even after telling the front desk you dont want room service. They knock once, say HOUSE KEEPING, then enter your room right away. One time I was getting out from the shower when she walked in on me. And none understood me cause they only spoke Spanish. No English. And one of the front desk worker who's name is Jesus, is super mean/rude to the guest. Myself and another guest witnessed him being very mean to an out of towner who had went in to reserve a room. And because the person had cuts on her face , he refused renting her a room, discriminating her as a drug attack. Told her straight up WE CANT RENT TO PEOPLE LIKE YOU. (Could've just been acne) then he even gave me problems after that. He made me cancel my booking knowing they were going to charge me a night for canceling due to it being the day I was checking in. Made me cancel anyways and still gave me a problem after that about mine and my husband's ID. It was like he was looking to argue and fight with someone. Or just to plan out give someone who's already having a rough day an even rougher day. Not cool. Should be more respectful and professional with their guest. Not something anyone wants to deal with when traveling. The manager Wendy was very helpful and nice though, whe she's there. Other then that, everyone else is really mean.
Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Fridge in room was great but it leaked if the degrees was turned down from high, which on high it froze everything inside. And that it had a Dispensery located in the parking lot. Property was good too.

When first entering, the room smelled like dirty mop with bleach. Also, after 11am our key card didn’t work (we stayed for 3 nights) so we had to get it activated everyday. The walkways were hosed down everyday, and a small puddle was inside our room by our door(ground floor) as well as a lot of water dripped from walkway roof (only at edge though) from top floor.
The staff was kind and helpful It was close to unique coffee shops, The Waffle House and right off of the freeway/highway.

Floor was super dirty. They didn't clean our room one day.
They did fix the toilet when asked. There was a fridge and they said if there wasn't they would give us one the following day.

Location, price point
No breakfast, only coffee. There us only 1 iron in the entire hotel, no ironing board. This is terrible inadequate. Spend a few dollars and get some more irons and some ironing boards. The Days Inn just up the road has irons and ironing boards in each room. They also have a full breakfast. I'll be staying there next time if there's no improvement here.

The drug activity and partying was too distractive and obvious. The rooms seem old and dreary. No garbage cans anywhere near our room outside. When you stay for 9 days you do accumulate garbage. No microwaves in room. No laundry facilities. Bad neighborhood. Overall our stay was adequate and the price right.
Privacy maintained during e tire stay! Pet friendly with no extra charges or deposits, thank you!

Area was a little sketchy, but that’s not the hotels fault. Getting more towels was not easy. I think their towels get stolen often. Also, no blow dryers or irons in the room. I had to trade my drivers license at the front desk to borrow the one blow dryer they had.
