Under construction, the staff is completely different, the previous staff was diverse and very friendly and nice. The new staff did not speak in the hallways when they were cleaning rooms. It was a different energy. We have stayed at that location 3 to 4 times. I do not think I will be back.

the hotel is in renovation as of 05/14/2024. It seems that the staff is very helpful even after having these shortcomings to improve the experience of the customers once the hotel is renovated then the experience should improve futher

The air did not work right and the TV was not working right. a lot of construction going on..hanging wires.

The best were comfortable but the air was off and on in our room and there was a lot of construction going on in the hotel. our TV was not working right. So there were some quirks along the way but everyone was very nice there.

The location was away from town so you have to drive everywhere. Only one set of elevators working which was a little inconvenient. The elevator was smelly, kinda like burnt hair or oil.. our sink was somewhat stopped up, couldn't run the water long or the water would puddle up..

The staff was great, respectful and friendly..

We could hear every word of the couple's conversation in the room next to ours.

Good breakfast with multiple hot options. Location was quiet and close for our historical triangle trip.

Carpets are heavily stained, thick dust on tables in hallways. Pool wasn’t open. Pictures online give a different idea of what the hotel looks like.

Super close to Busch Gardens and everywhere else we were going. Room was clean. Breakfast was decent for a complimentary hotel breakfast.

The hotel is clearly going under renovations currently and this was not stated anywhere online (as far as I could tell) when booking. There were exposed pipes, lots of mystery stains and liquid, and overall the facilities of the hotel itself felt very run down. Our rooms were supposed to be adjoined with a connecting door but they were not, although our first room had a connecting door that was nailed shut. It had a very ominous vibe. The walls were paper thin so we could hear lots of noise coming from the room next to us. Thankfully the front desk staff were able to help us get moved to a different room that was quieter.

The staff were very kind and helpful when checking in and also helped us when problems arose. The two rooms I booked were overall comfortable and suited our needs for the trip. The lobby was nice and it’s clear that they are putting work into making this hotel better and more updated.

The beds were comfortable but seemed smaller than double beds offered by other hotel chains. The bathroom could have been cleaner. Main issue was the mildew on the bottom of the shower curtain. I wouldn't have that shower curtain in my house if I had company staying over.

The staff and free breakfast was nice. They are updating the hotel so it should be nice soon. The location was convenient to colonial Williamsburg and busch gardens.

The shower drain was full of hair and kept the water from draining. The toiletries left by the hotel were so tiny that we didn't use them. The shampoo was enough for people with short hair. If you have long hair and like to shampoo it twice, bring your own shampoo. The bar of soap was a joke as it didn't lather well and was so small that it was useless as a cleansing agent.

Don't let the outside appearance scare you. The hotel looks old and dirty; however, the inside was quite a surprise. Renovations are being made and everything was new and clean. The staff was excellent and Max was extremely helpful. The bedrroom was clean and had a refrigerator as well as a microwave. The bathroom sink was in the foyer and the shower and toilet were in a separate room. We looked for a blow-dryer and found it in a cubby under the microwave and we were satisfied with the room as we were only staying for one night. Breakfast was plentiful with cereals, pancakes, eggs, toast, potatoes, and sausages. The breakfast did not include waffles and the coffee was delicious.

I could hear traffic from my room during the night because it’s right beside the road, beds are a little small for the double room, hotel is under construction so only one elevator was working making us have to walk a Country mile to our room, but all in all that wouldn’t deter me from staying again

The lady who worked in the cafeteria in the morning to serve breakfast was diligent.

It was being renovated so the look and cleanliness was a little dire. Lots of plastic sheeting, I was waiting for a Dexter appearance. Hard floor in the room was different, I didn't like it, I think. Bed was soft and I'm still dealing with some twinges in the lower back. Overall reasonable.

It has the bones of an upscale hotel however, it looked a little dated. It was being renovation at the time of my visit. Hopefully this will make it look new again.
