We were so very disappointed for a few reasons. There was a major plumbing issue- the toilet backed up right into the connecting sink used for dishes. It leaked out on 2 occasions over 2 days. We told 2 staff members, nothing was done and no discount was offered at almost $800 a night. Our room was near a entrance and the door slammed often as people came and went during the evening/night. There was no coffee/tea maker as listed. Huge disappointment. The room was extremely tight and the place really looked like it was neglected . Furniture, painting, broken lawn furniture and plants. Wow- I have been to many places to visit and the residences/hotels were far and above these accomodations at a third of the price. I would never recommend this place to anyone, sadly.

We loved the access to the beach and the outdoor space. The beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the morning breakfast basket. A nice personal touch.

At first glance everything seemed great, however, the cleaning crew did a horrible job cleaning. Our entire floor was still covered in sand (since our room was right on the beach) which shows that they didn’t actually clean the floors. Also our balcony was NOT cleaned. They didn’t give us new beach towels, didn’t even fold the ones we originally had. The room itself was nice until you started paying closer attention to detail, that’s when you noticed cosmetic issues, chipped paint, rust, etc. There were also a lot of bugs in the room. We ended up staying an extra night but were moved to a different room which was even worse. Just looked dated and the beds were extremely noisy to the point where you were woken up every time you rolled over. We were able to hear everyone else in other rooms and the hallway lights were extremely bright inside of the room. The bugs were even worse in the second room. There were also a number of broken potted plants throughout the grounds. For the amount they charge to stay at this hotel it should be immaculate.

The location was amazing, couldn’t be beat. The views were breathtaking and it was quiet. The ambiance that the hotel was going for was definitely evident.

There was a continental breakfast with yogurt and granola, and a bagel/cream cheese/jelly/butter with an apple and orange juice and a hot coffee. The picnic container was more impressive than the breakfast itself. Being able to have the breakfast on the patio by the garden was beautiful, but for the price per night exceeding $500 it was not the boutique hotel I thought it’d be - there could’ve been a hot breakfast sandwich offered or danishes/muffins and perhaps a fruit salad...or maybe a spoon to eat the yogurt with instead of a fork. Also the fact that it all arrived at 9am when most guests on the property were up around 7:30a/8:00a with no one answering the guest service line or being at the front desk left us waiting over an hour for this little breakfast basket. For celebrating our 10yr anniversary where they said they’d make it “special” when we reserved our room and spoke with hotel management directly, I was extremely underwhelmed.

The hotel room itself was simple, but nicely decorated...the beach, the view of the pier, and the garden set-up were nice as well.

Such a beautiful beach and grounds! Lovely modern decor. Nice touch of a picnic breakfast and nespresso in the room We had a “garden room” and were so pleasently surprised to open the door and see big windows overlooking a big lawn leading to the channel ! Gorgeous covered patio, lights seating , made it a pleasure to sit out at night even in a rain storm! Overall a delightful experience!

Location is ideal for romantic getaway for couples.
