Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Got there and TV service was not working. Totally missed the football game. Also, hotel smelled the minute you walked through door. Smelled like a mixture of natural gas and dirt.

There was a dead cricket next to the bed and a black flying bug that kept flying at my face. It took me an hour to kill the bug so I could sleep. When I told desk clerk about dead crickets at check out he stated with transition of season it was unavoidable to control bugs. I live in the desert of Arizona and I have no dead or alive scorpions, crickets or flying bugs in my home.

Entrance light fixture was not working. Elevator was dirty and sticky the entire time we were there. The floor in the breakfast area was sticky as well and the breakfast choices were slim compared to similar continental breakfasts and the eggs had a gray tint for some reason.

Entire hotel and room smelled odd. Breakfast offer could have been little bit bigger.

it had some odd smells around hotel. breakfast could have been better. water pressure in shower/ bath was not good

The hotel needs an update. There were missing baseboards, hole in wall where picture used to hang. Place needs a good cleaning.
The bed was comfortable. The cost of the hotel was reasonable.

I arrived after 12 a.m., which I informed Hotel, check in was easy. I had to subsequently change room because shower did not work, and repacking after 11 hour plane ride is not a great thing to do. Television worked for only 50% of the days I was there and spotty at best.
Location is where I wished to stay, central to my needs.

The hotel was fine. The problem came when my guys checked into the hotel. I booked the rooms on your website and then when they arrived Comfort inn made me put up another $100 per room on MY card, plus it looks like they charged me another nights stay. When I call to discuss either the computers are down or I just cant understand the guy on the other end. I currently have $380 additional added to my CC without a receipt and the best answer I have been told is "it should be back on your card in 5 to 7 days"

it is shabby. the overhead light in my room didn’t work and the clasp on the door lock was broken. there was a weird smell throughout the property. the man who checked me in barely understood what i was saying.
the bed was very comfortable. the tv worked.

Manager could have been nicer and more accomodating. I have stayed at a lot of comfort inns' and have never been charged different rates every night. They make you sign something that expects you to be ok with the different rates every night.
Our party intended to stay 10 days and they charged the whole 10 days on the first day. We also checked out at 11 am and they didn't mark us checked out until 2 pm charging us for a whole other day and would not refund the extra day.

The internet was cutting of very often. People coming out of the pool without footwear, not dry and water was all over the place especially the Elevator. Not enough parking.
