The walls are thin. You hear the people talking n moving around. Disturbing hearing doors opening and closing. People are coming upstairs late at night.

Rooms are close together so people smoking just outside of their rooms would lead to smoke wafting into our room. It was pretty unavoidable.

We were tucked in between 2 rooms that had smokers. Rooms were non-smoking and they were super nice couples but the smoking outside our room on both sides was overwhelming at times. Recommend hotel offers smoking areas vs non-smoking areas so that guests have an option.

Loved the location and the decor of the room, including the retro mini fridge and microwave and the Smart TV that included apps to Netflix, etc. Really enjoyed the adirondack chairs right outside our door and the ability to park just a stone's throw away from our room, which made for easy unpacking/packing. Also loved the close proximity to 12S ORV ramps, within 10 minutes!

Parking was a little tight, but a lot of people, including myself, have pick up trucks.

The manager, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and looks like it had been recently updated with new bathroom and new TV and appliances.

Location was great, room was very clean. Disappointed that so few rooms had an ocean view. Also disappointed that the room and the bathroom were so small. But, probably all that could be expected for the price.

Air conditioner was small and worked hard to keep up. Even at that, it was comfortable during some of the hottest days of the summer.

Property was clean, in a good location, and the staff was great! We will definitely keep them in mind for our next trip.

The window aC units are old and a bit nasty, they should look at updating with mini splits.. would enhance the appearance for sure. Doors need to be weather proofed, huge gaps in the door.

The motel location is spot on! Steps from the beach! The room was clean, quiet at night.

The parking lot is tight. If you have a larger vehicle, this will be a challenge. This is to be expected in the CBX, tho. Most hotels are older & have very tight parking.

I was sincerely surprised by the cleanliness of this hotel. Obviously, the hotel is older, but man, was it clean. The rooms are exactly as they look on the website. Room had no odor, no dirt, no sand. The room was very comfortable as soon as we ealked in. Window A/C unit works perfect for the room even in the extreme heat during our stay. Pets are welcome. The staff are very nice. Pleasant stay would highly recommend.

No tissues. No ice machine but you can buy a full bag from them for $1. Good thing the freezer was big enough for the bag.

Room was comfortable and clean. Bed was comfy. Easy beach access. Staff were pleasant.

The parking lot. The thin sheet (comforter) it was so thin sand stand in bed. There was nothing really to catch sand from the beach. The carpet outside is wore down. The tv did not swivel so very difficult to see in bed and no dresser the shelves keeps the room looking junky. Since they don’t have breakfast it would be nice to have full size coffee pots. The bathroom definitely need fans.

Clean and updated the rooms were. I love the throw back fridge and microwave. The cleaning staff were so kind and willing to help you with anything you need. I love how they picked up dirty towels and trash everyday.

My door knob wasn't working very well. The parking was a bit rough finding a spot. Could have an indoor rug to keep from slipping and a clothes line to hang up your swimming suit.

The Motel was close to the beach and close to activities,state parks,and food shopping centers, and the fact that you are allowed to have pets. People were very friendly. The staff was very friendly and helpful. 🙂

It was a perfect stay for a few nights. The room appeared to have been remodeled. It was fairly clean(contact lens on floor and hair in shower). There was a strong smell of possibly mold(maybe from room being closed) but it did subside after a day or so. The location was great, very close to beach. I would stay again.
