Breakfast price , parking a big issue

Enjoyed our stay , breakfast was good but costly , room was good , cleanliness, hate all the rerouting bc of construction, love the beach view, right out the hotel doors , will go back when in corpus

The beds were not comfortable for my husband and I but everyone else liked them. The beach when wanting to go into the water it had a big drop off and that was a little scary for me because my kids are small, there weren't any sets out there and It would have been great if they had that for the hotel instead of renting chairs.

the rooms were good, bed was a little hard for my husband and I but other than that it was great for the rest of our family. the beach was right outside in the back of the hotel, and I loved that they had a wash station for us and the kids, and if the waves got too crazy for the little ones their pool was close and to the side with a bar, drinks for adults and children. we picked Double Tree because it wasn't too far from Texas State Aquarium which was great because after a long day there all you want to do is get to the hotel and relaxed, and if you didn't want to drive to get food there was a bar and restraint there for you as well, bonus for my family for all we wanted to do was not drive and just stay and enjoy, live music, nice people, great service, kids got a cookie when we arrived, view was amazing, defiantly room to set inside and out to enjoy peace or some sun. we will defiantly make Double Tree our first choice to stay when visiting Corpus Christy.

The microwave in the room didn't work, couldn't heat our food. The balcony light couldn't be turned off, too bright to sit outside at night.

Food was good and reasonable priced at restaurant. Located allow walking distance to Aquarium and other locations.

We paid extra for a patio overlooking the bay, but the patio had green ac water from above dripping on it and in puddles so we couldn’t use it at all.

Everything was good. Beach access. Hotel was very clean. Room was big it could've had a bigger mini fridge but is all good. Everything was good the picture is the view from our room. I don't think we took any from inside but I will if I find any.. thanks. Will stay again!

That you have to give 24 hour notice to have the room cleaned. They changed the sheets, vacuumed and left clean towels. They didn't clean the bathroom or restock the toilet paper or coffee station.

Parking was not free as advertised 10 hours away from home to find out that to park in your hotel parking lot you must pay an additional $10 per day I feel like parking should be a part of the room charge

The only thing I dislike was the cleanliness of the room. I worked as a housekeeper and I can tell the cleaning process was rushed and not paid attention to detail. If the rooms can be cleaner this would be an awesome place to stay.

The breakfast buffet on the weekends is awesome. The food was great my kids had plenty of choices!

We had requested a large corner room with gulf view for fireworks. We had to lean over the side to see the fireworks. It was not an unobstructed view.

The parking.. Had to pay separate per day for parking.. The hotel should have the parking available for their guest for free.. The pool was crowded and didn’t required to scan your key card to access, it was like anybody from the public was coming in and out how they pleased.. key card we’re not required when re entering the hotel from the back door from the beach side.. should be more aware and concern for guest safety..

Room not ready when promised. (Compensated with breakfast voucher). Only partial roll of toilet paper in( large queen room) Sliding door would not stay closed. Locking mechanism rust out. Had to use the ironing board to keep it closed. Advertised swim up bar was nice but service wasn’t!!! Waited 20 minutes first day and walked away! Second day, 30 minutes waiting for a drink! Shower door would not close all the way. Nice patio, one chair ??

The many children in the pool with changing of dirty diapers after coming from the pool. Apparently using the pool as a toilet.

Not many restaurants within walking distance, but the Black beards restaurant was great.

I like the location of this hotel. I loved that you were able to access the beach. I loved that it had balconies too.
