To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Very clean. Everything in the room was very modern, loved it. Enjoyed the bed and pillows so soft and comfortable. The European remodeling throughout the whole place.

It showed the two bed rooms king suite which includes 2 king size beds located separately in 2 rooms for my family with 4 adults , but actually did not. I paid for that room rate but I got the small room with only 1 king bed. How could it fit 4 adults? This was really a trouble for us especially we checked in lately at night and all of us were tired 🥲 I don’t know whether booking.com or the hotel is responsible for the wrong advertisement.

United States of AmericaConstruction is going on, so we had to use the freight elevator. There are no signs anywhere saying it's a Doubletree hotel. On the street, a sign says Holiday Inn. Inside, there are signs saying Hilton Honors.
Loved comfy bed, smell of sheets and nice decor. Liked the water and great chocolate chip cookie. Low deposit.
