Having to ask for maid service is not what I expect out of a hotel of this caliber. Blaming it on covid is getting old. Without maid service, having to replenish cups, coffee, towels, etc. is a pain and unacceptable.

Location was good. Nice and quiet room and attractive and well-appointed common areas. Lots of self-parking and it was easy and free.

- toilet flooded but was promptly attended to - ADA room 212 could use another grab bar on the right wall as entering the shower (was problematic for us not having it there) - extra bath mats due to the fact that it's a roll in shower there is excess water spillage (although the delivery of the towels upon request was very quick) - one of the shower bar plates is loose and kept coming off of it's place - On our second night upon our return to the hotel after dinner we asked the gentlemen at the front desk if he had a couple of cookies. He advised us he did not have any extra cookies he could give out. Seems so odd that a guest's request for 2 cookies could not be fulfilled when the hotel is known for the cookies. Strangely rejected -- felt very odd.

all requests were met very, very quickly and efficiently parking is very accessible and easy air conditioner worked well tv worked well sheets were clean, all light bulbs worked, dust was minimal, towels were exceptionally clean

Front Desk was not at all friendly when we asked about whether our room would be cleaned. She barely looked at ys. Not sure if we were informed that we needed to schedule house keeping 24 hours in advance

I wish we knew before hand of the deposit in addition to the cost of room. I had a offer code that wasn’t honored at the The top golf suite, but confirmed availability prior.

Due to Covid no shuttle to SMU or gym access. It would have been nice if the site mentioned these changes.

Location was good for parent's weekend at SMU. It was just two exits north of the campus. It was on the highway so easy access to everything. The room was spacious and had little extras like a magnifying mirror and bedside lamps with dimmers. It had plenty of free parking which is not available to most hotels in Dallas.

It didnt have a pool and needed updating inside the rooms! The person that checked us in seemed to be rushing the check in process. He didn’t explain why my chargers were different from my Booking.com prices until I asked him. Didnt explain any extras that the hotel may offer as far as breakfast or any extra amenities. I wont but this location again!

We didn't get daily cleaning service. Not sure if it's because of coronavirus, but they never told us we wouldn't get daily cleaning. When I requested fresh towels and trash pickup, they just left a bag of towels outside of our door and didn't come into the room to empty our trash cans.

Room was large and comfortable and everything was clean, fresh, and nicely maintained! Great water pressure in the shower. We enjoyed the chocolate chip cookies every night 😃

There is a picture of a pool on their website, but there is NO pool. We had an issue with the hot water one night, two in our party took luke warm showers, but it was hot again next morning. The tub floor moved which I could see being an issue if someone had mobility issues. We wished there had been a microwave in room.

The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Shower had great water pressure. The view was great!
