Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaIt needs to be updated, especially for the price you pay for the rooms. Only 1 elevator works.

United States of AmericaOur room was very warm and stuffy! We attempted to turn temperature down to no avail. Front desk said the air had not been turned on yet so only heat would come on! Seriously????? This is Ohio…snow one week, upper 70’s next. Need the ability to have air when needed. Luckily my friend brought a fan or it would have been VERY uncomfortable!
Loved the suite, comfortable furniture and beds!

United KingdomDidn’t feel clean - bath/shower had a lot of mold, room was sold as having a sofa bed, but the mattress looked ancient, there was a smell of old smoke and “river view” was almost completely obscured by dirty windows.

United States of AmericaBreakfast buffet is worse than most. Very overpriced, not well/consistently stocked (food or dishes), and service staff was virtually absent (couldn't get coffee or water at our table).
Rooms were well sized and decent quality for the price paid for a downtown hotel. Great location, onsite restaurant and bar are a huge plus when you're tired and just want to stay in.

United States of AmericaNeeds renovations, only one elevator was working and some things just look like they need updated. Room was not the cleanest. I had specifically asked for it to be cleaned very well because I have dust allergies and that was not done at all. There was a floss toothpick under where the sink was when we arrived. Little things matter and the room wasn’t cheap so asking it to be clean shouldn’t be a hard thing to do. Very comfortable and could be a great hotel if they had staff that did their job and paid attention to the smaller details. We also only had one washcloth but several hand towels. Attention to detail is important.
Beds were very comfy and within a block to where we were going.

United States of AmericaWe had a corner room, the windows were dirty from the outside obscuring our view of the river and city. There were holes in walls the wall paper covered it but was still there. No trash bags in the trash cans. We liked our stay, however we stayed at the Hyatt in downtown Cleveland two week before, for a Browns game, and felt like our hotel stay was cleaner. Oh and there was no valet parking
We loved room size and the view! The bed was comfortable and the location was perfect

United States of AmericaThere was a faint smell of smoke --I barely noticed it, but it bothered my wife when we first entered. I didn't mind finding out that parking was NOT included in the price we paid at booking (must've misread), BUT $25/night is outrageous, especially because we saw lots that charged half the price within walking distance (Although, I suppose those might charge you more for coming and going, whereas the hotel's pass didn't. But we only stayed one night and didn't need to leave until the next morning). The breakfast buffet was also not included, and ~$23 seemed reasonable, but when we saw they only offered scrambled eggs, one breakfast meat, and an assortment of breads, we chose to walk somewhere to eat.
The complimentary cookies we got at check-in were soft and warm! The room was very spacious and the beds were comfortable. It was split in two, with TVs on both sides. It's close to the Scioto River and pathway, which is good for running/walking/cycling. CoSI and the art museum are very close by, and there are good options for eating out by walking and/or a short drive.

United States of AmericaThe staff and room were excellent. However, it was hard to find the parking garage and lobby upon arrival. When you walk into the building you gad to take the elevator which was located off to the side up to the lobby which was very confusing due to not signs.
I personally did not care for the breakfast. The quality of food for $22.50 was definitely not worth it.
