Nothing about the hotel itself, however outside of the hotel were a lot of people just hanging around, if I were to go back again I would probably stay in downtown Manhattan away from the crowds.

The bed was super comfortable, the location for access to main tourist areas and transit to the airport was good. The staff at reception were helpful and friendly. The room was clean and the facilities were pretty good.

The room we were given was tiny. Barely any room for our suitcases. Everything was a tight squeeze

8th Avenue can get a little rough at night but overall it was a handy place to be for getting around the whole city

The only slight criticism I had was our room was nearing on too small for our travels. But I say this mindful that space doesn't come naturally to New York so it's not a complaint as such. I just think that we struggled to 'unpack' with the space and wardrobe space available for our 7 day stay in NY, we could have done with more hangers in the wardrobe, a bigger wardrobe, space under the bed even would have helped for tucking our suitcases out of the way instead of blocking our path to one side of the room. But it's a small thing in comparison and we did love our stay!

My partner and I took a trip of a lifetime to the US, and our first trip was NY where we stayed at the Hilton. We had a comfortable stay, it was clean, location was incredible for everything, access to the subway was fab.

The reception was not the friendliest. The windows were quoted dirty and one couldn’t enjoy the view, but what to expect that high up.

The only teeeeny thing to flag was that the bed duvet (inside the cover) appeared patchy so these may need updating (unless its the stuffing and not stains)

We loved the convenience of the facilities and the rooftop bar at night!

Room was a little cramped for two people plus luggage but hey this is NYC, we didn't spend enough time on the room for this to become a major issue for us.

Welcoming and friendly staff made checking in and out very easy, they also gave us each a warm cookie each on arrival which were heavenly. Security deposit taken for the room on check-in which was refunded to my card in full within minutes of checking out. Facilities were clean and well maintained, the view from my room was gorgeous.

Room was not cleaned on second day. Spoilt experience a bit. I had to call reception to get towels and cups. But room was not clean and bins not empty for our last night . Spoilt our last night

Clean, fantastic location for The Edge, Times Square, Penn Station, Hudson Yards. Small room but to be expected for central NYC. Great rooftop bar. Live music on Saturday evening.

There was nothing we didn’t like about the hotel except for the fact that there are a lot of homeless people begging near the hotel which we found a bit uncomfortable but unfortunately this can be seen all around the Times Square area not just this hotel.

The location was very central for midtown Manhattan, lots of places to eat nearby and a short walk away from Times Square. The room was quite small but I think this is the norm in NYC, that being said it was fine for 2 of us, there was plenty of tea/coffee provisions which was replenished each day, the bed and pillows were super clean and comfy, the bathroom was a good size with a nice walk in shower, plenty of hot water and lots of complimentary products to use. We were on the 25th floor with a view of the Empire State Building (2501) you could still hear the sirens on the street below but it didn’t keep us awake you get used to all the sirens, they’re continuous! There were 3 lifts servicing the rooms and we had no problems getting one when required. We didn’t eat at the hotel so can’t comment on the food but we did have drinks on the roof terrace which had amazing views of the city. We arrived at the hotel by taxi from JFK which said it was a flat rate of $70 but in fact cost $89 plugs a tip! We decided to get the train and air train back which cost about $12. You can get the LIRR at Penn St station (which is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel) to Jamaica and then you get the air train to JFK, it’s really quite easy and takes about 1 hour in total.

House keeping was insufficient. We had to ask for new towels, soap, shampoo and conditioner etc. for several times, since they were keep forgetting to put them into our room. Some days even though we reminded them to do so, staff forgot to place those things into our room anyways.

Location of the hotel was amazing! Easy access to subway and walking distance to many must-see spots.

The room was a little small but the location and price were excellent and I gather that this is normal in Manhattan. We would certainly stay there again.

Easy walk from Penn Station for our journey to Newark airport. Staff were enthusiastic, welcoming and we really liked the warm cookies on arrival. We went out in the evening with our two teenagers- we visited Times Square the Empire State Building and other attractions all within walking distance of the hotel, We arrived back at 10.30 pm and the area around the hotel still felt very safe to us.
