Fridge had leftover food items in freezer and refrigerator sections. Description said sleep sofa, but it wasn't.

Location location location Beautiful view of downtown Norfolk the unit was extremely nice and clean And offer all the amenities of a five star hotel for a fraction of the cost the host was very nice and. Will definitely be coming back to visit

The location is VERY noisy with cars waiting in traffic with the music blaring so loud I swear I thought there was a dance floor in the living room, and unfortunately drunks out until well into the next morning, calling out, having loud conversations, assorted cackling ... as late as 2 am one night, 3:50 am another. Earplugs and eye masks are provided, and after a couple nights of being woken up by the wildlife, I used those. Having windows to the ceiling and a bedroom with only partial walls (and no door) did not help with the noise, either. Common hallway stank of old stale cooking smells so I guess there's no ventilation. The architect really blew it on this one. Streetlights blast light in all directions (yes, even up) so it looks like it's dawn all night long even with the shades pulled, which don't block all the light.

Condo was clean and comfortable, and convenient to good restaurants and the waterfront. We parked the car in the garage about two blocks away and didn't get it until we left.

The main door off the street was not always locked and the actual apartment door lock needs to be more securely seated in jam when locked.

I hope the positives show before the negatives on this review, because we really enjoyed the loft apartment. Other reviews mentioned lively street noise, so we were prepared, but had not expected a bass sax serenade on Saturday night, right below our windows! Fun! The lights from the main room shine over the partiton to the bedroom, which is challenging for guests with different sleep schedules. Still, we slept great. It wasn't a problem, but we discovered the street door was often unlocked.

It was a beautiful space! Clean and comfortable. Everything we needed to fend for ourselves while visiting our son nearby (well-equipped kitchen, washer-dryer, e.g.) and to host his family for dinner when they wanted a change from their small apartment. Great central location.

This apartment was so nice!! Once I had trouble with door opening, host family sealed with it so Quickly. I strongly recommend this apartment when you stay in the Norfolk.

Very clean and roomy. My wife and I wanted a staycation just to relax away from our normal routine. We were able to do just that. We loved the stay and will strongly consider coming back.

The kitchens sink water didn't get hot for dish washing. I gave up and used the dishwasher instead. Bare necessities available to cook. Wifi wasn't the best, signals not very strong.

Location was amazing. Everything was nearby so we walked everywhere. I loved the view and aesthetic of the loft. Our host was gracious and easily accessible through text. Plenty of supplies (cleaning items, linens, etc) were made available

some of the night life can be heard at random hours of the night. no fault of the property but if you’re traveling with small ones then it could be a problem.

Sink plumbing backed up a little, not really much of an issue

The appartment was very clean, the high ceilings and open plan was very inviting. Stocked kitchen and bathroom was an unexpected bonus. Washer and dryer in the apartment very convenient for quick clean of clothes I needed.

The property is located in a cozy loft in the heart of downtown Norfolk. The pictures shown for the property are spot on, no deception here. The property was very clean, with modern interior decor. The owner was extremely responsive and friendly, and answered any questions we had. We couldn't have asked for a better place. If we return to Norfolk, this place is our top choice!
