Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe room was extremely hot during our stay and temp control was not adjustable as all the room are on the same heat line, we woke up drenched in sweat during our stay! AC was super loud but was needed to try to off set the heat in the room. Housekeeping never cleaned the room, only provided new towels and toiletries. We stayed on the 3rd floor, stair only access was a bit tiring after the 3rd day.
Location was great and very close to the beach. View of the beach from Oceanfront room was great.

United States of AmericaThe room had a very cold feeling to it. There was a dog in the next room that barked; alot. There was no closet to hang items. It was fine for an overnight stay.
The hotel was right on the ocean. The best thing about my stay was watching the sunrise from the room. The room was clean.

United States of AmericaWhile we could get in the room, it was not really accessible for someone in a wheelchair. Furniture blocked clear paths. Lights on the ramp were not lit you; no closet in the room; maid service left only bath towels, no wash clause, no hand towels. No heat.
Right on beach. Balcony outside. Close to everything. Loved the Maristella restaurant next door. Wawa within walking distance. Quiet. Firm comfortable bed Plenty of parking. assigned parking no cost

United States of AmericaWe booked and tried to cancel the same day. Within hours of the booking. They claimed it was in booking.com hands to refund when in fact it was Drifting Sands who declined to refund the reservation. So they lied. i can understand if we had made the reservation even a few days before and last minute cancellation is not reasonable but hours? And they had five open unsold rooms according to booking.com. only 25% of the motel, not a hotel, is ocean front. Its a bait and switch name My bad for not paying closer attention to what i was buying. The motel is well worn but clean. No swimming pool and it is in one of most heavily congested areas of the island.

United States of AmericaThe cleaning services. They’re just dumping a plastic bag of towels. Never make your bed or change your sheets. Sheets from rooms after you’ve done with vacation were throwing from the balcony down on the ground on a dumpster sooop unprofessional. The filthiest people I’ve ever seen. Never vacuumed. Balconies are so dirty it’s outrageous full of mold on the railing and you can’t hang out a towel. The air conditioning makes such an outrageous noise and it’s so close it makes ypu jump and wakes you up. Overall it’s overpriced.
Front desk professionalism. Free chairs and towels. Very polite.

United States of AmericaWe stayed in what appeared to be an older building set apart from the main property which was in need of an update. While the room was clean, the floors were warped and sandy. Bathroom very dated. Beds small. Would not have been comfortable for a week’s stay.
Very easy to get to and great beach. They provided beach towels, chairs and games. Staff was nice. Got extra bath towels on the second day.

United States of AmericaWindow air conditioning left the room very humid. The ceiling light was in the far corner of the room so it was hard to get enough light. Window in the bathroom let light in during the night. When booking, it was hard to tell where we would be in the hotel. I paid almost $900 for 2 nights and was expecting much more for this price. The room was big and the bed was great, but no breakfast was included and the sliding door to the balcony was really hard to open and close (we are young, but I can’t imagine an older couple being able to open it). Also, it was nice to face the ocean but on the first floor you couldn’t even see the water. This should definitely be advertised and shouldn’t be charged the same price for a room with an ocean view.
Great location, right on the beach. Bed was big and comfortable. Room was very clean.
